Discussion: Sanders: White House Would Like To Be 'On The Record' More Often

Dear Ms. Suckabee:

First, the anonymous sources are only anonymous to you, not to the journalist. And guess what, the calls are coming from inside the house. Second, if you sense hostility it’s because you and your boss constantly insult journalists and allege “fake news.” Start being more collegial and see what happens.

You’re welcome,

Hoagie

Sanders should go first. Get a WH staffer to come to the mic and tell the assembled press all the names of people in the administration that have privately confided they think Trump is a moron. Just say it, out in the open, so reporters don’t have to cajole it out of individual staffers off the record. Go ahead Sarah.

“So often I feel like, certainly, the question comes from a place of, like, an accusation instead of just asking, looking for information. It’s more like ‘You’re a horrible person, please tell us why,’” she said. “I do think that the tone matters.” (Sarah Lee Sanders)

To which, I say, “No shit, Sherlock!”

Nice try, Sarah.

BTW, that ‘sense of transparency’ you claim the WH is creating only means the lies are more transparent.

We all wish for things, Sarah. But part of the problem is that you work for the ignorant, incompetent, vindictive, impulsive, criminal, traitorous, and seriously mentally ill leader of what is essentially a criminal conspiracy, not a legitimate administration, and nothing you say is or can be an honest communication. So yeah, there’s gonna be a problem with the tone of the questions, and there’s going to be a continued reliance on anonymous sources. Maybe you should pray to God for answers.

“I do think that the tone matters.”

She said without irony.

Sarah should suggest to Trump he replace her with a military general as spokesperson. Then the press would just have to sit there and accept whatever was said without challenging any of it.

“Since Sanders took over as White House press secretary, she said she’s been working to be more transparent and offer more “on the record” opportunities for reporters.”

After telling a whopper like that, I’m shocked that Ma Hamhock wasn’t struck by lightning.

She’s a professional liar, who works for a pathological liar, and nothing either of them says can be taken as factual or truthful–-because they never say anything that is factual or truthful.

  1. Publish the logs of all visitors to the White House instead of hiding them.
  2. Publish how the tax changes being proposed by the Republicans will benefit Trump and his cabinet.
  3. Stop telling lies or claiming that “it’s not appropriate” to question generals. The government works better when truth is important and generals are less important.

HAHAHAHAHAHA…is that kinda sorta like your ‘many people think, say, believe…’ BS you use every single time you defend Trump from some egregious threat, insult or tweet?

Think about, look back on and reflect on, what “we’d like to be on the record more often” would have meant for any previous White House. It would have meant they wanted to discuss more, explain more, be more transparent.

These assholes just want us to tell them who all is leaking.

Sad (but really).

"She said her press shop is “constantly having to compete with anonymous sources,” which aren’t “credible.”

I read that as working hard to be less credible than the anonymous sources then?

“That’s something that we’ve tried I think to do with some success over the last couple of months, is working more to do on the record, certainly on camera briefings to allow that sense of access and sense of transparency,”

Umm…on camera briefings have been the norm for decades. Merely reinstating what you foolishly tried to destroy, doesn’t create a sense of transparency.

But since you are going there…Where are Donald’s tax returns? Why all the missing information on security forms? What’s with the widespread use of private emails in the WH now? How about the sharp upturn in FOIA denials and even oppressive counter suits filed against individuals using FOIA? Where are the visitor logs for the WH? AND Mar-e-Largo? Why exactly was Jared trying to setup back channel communications with Russia, in a manner that the US IC wouldn’t know about them?

We look forward to the answers to all of these and more , in this new era of transparency.

“It’s a big disservice to the American people that there (isn’t) more credible sourcing,” she said. “I do think that the anonymous sourcing is a really big problem and something that as much as we can move away from we should.”

Separately, The Associated Press reported on Thursday that Trump told Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto during a Friday phone call that Mexico had “a bunch of bad hombres down there” and threatened to send in the U.S. military to intervene.

The White House and Mexico’s government have both denied those reports.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/politics/australia-mexico-transcripts/

You have some pretty tough hombres in Mexico that you may need help with, and we are willing to help you with that big-league. But they have to be knocked out and you have not done a good job of knocking them out. We have a massive drug problem where kids are becoming addicted to drugs because drugs are being sold for less money than candy because there is so much of it. So we have to work together to knock that out. And I know this is a tough group of people, and maybe your military is afraid of them, but our military is not afraid of them, and we will help you with that 100 percent because it is out of control – totally out of control.

Now Sarah Sanders says John Kelly’s blatant lying isn’t “wrong” because it’s “what he felt”

Sarah Sanders is a necrophiliac. It must be true, it’s how I feel.

So, someone gains access to Trump’s tax returns and publishes them. Will Sarah say “President Trump could have made this unnecessary by releasing them voluntarily, so I guess this one is on us.”?
