Woah! Didn’t see that one coming. Thanks, Bernie. When does the uniting begin again?
Bernie still expects to win California. Wonder what color is the sky in his world?
The Vermont senator said he would “of course” be competing in the final Democratic party in Washington, D.C. next week, and that he looked forward “to the full counting of the votes in California which I suspect will show a much closer vote than the current vote tally.”
Say what? What did Obama put in his drink? Is he kidding?
Sure. Whatever.
It must be hard to give up, especially since the GOP is such a tire fire this round. The opposition will never be this weak ever again. So tempting to think he could win it all…
But it’s the 5th quarter. Game is over. Go home.
There is still a bit of time but I’d like to hear from the people who say that Democrats need to give Sanders time to come to terms with the loss. I really do not see progress in that direction.
What a waste of an excellent opportunity for Barack (an actual president) to school Sanders Claus on presidential powers.
It’s either serious hogwash or serious delusion. Or both in equal measure.
Sounds like Peet’s scone was not exceedingly good but not too bad either.
This is making me a little sad. It’s like not telling your beloved grandpa with dementia that his wife has died, until at some point, you have to. Obama is doing the right thing and how could he not? Hillary was allowed to do the same thing in 2008. In the end, more good will comes from letting him decide when to go.
Sanders and the petulant, lacking in class Nina Turner are still in full tantrum mode, and are going to extort all they can get and squeeze every possible last minute of TV air time out of their publicity train.
Very Misleading headline
I can almost imagine a race for the White House between Bernie and the Donald and what I see is are two campaigns of chaos that would give comfort to no one except the MSM and late night comedians.
saying he’d do “everything in my power” to prevent a Trump presidency.
I would like a rousing, barn burning, no-holds-barred endorsement speech. Thanks.
Sanders knocked Trump for making “bigotry and discrimination” the “cornerstone” of his campaign,
saying he’d do “everything in my power” to prevent a Trump presidency.
I’ll feel somewhat more convinced-- when we get a verified start date for the combined effort.

Hang in there, Bernie! Otherwise, Sec. Clinton will swing back to the right and return to being a moderate republi-con.
We should all give Sanders the benefit of a doubt. If he has really realized what is going on, but has to bring along his die hard supporters, coming out after a meeting and just rolling over would be terrible. It is a process, and if you notice his tone has reverted to the pre-delusional “I can win” mode. He is advocating positions and hasn’t said anything negative about the presumptive nominee. And honestly at this point there is only one more primary and it would be unfair to his supporters who have worked hard to drop out now.
The California thing is just bruised ego talking.
Only one time in my life have I regretted a vote, but Mr. Sanders is dangerously close to making that two. Read the writing on the wall, dude, you lost. And I even voted for you.
Right that is why as a Senator her liberal rating was slightly higher than Sanders. Facts matter.
