Oh boo hoo, Sarah. You took the job. Do it.

This was definitively not a military decision. The Pentagon didn’t even know the decision was being made, and referred all questions back to the White House.

I read somewhere, maybe here, that transgendered surgery in the military was a sticking point in the House military spending bill with moderates not wanting to make it illegal, so Trump just took it off the table.

It was a political decision, not one regarding military readiness.

What do trans people have to do with the economic anguish of the white, working class? Isn’t that why Trump won?

Sarah, if you can’t handle the heat, get out of the press room…for good. Just leave.

I’m glad we have a nice shiny new White House Communications Director to ensure these things go smoothly!

Well, as Noodle Gingrich pointed out, transgender people are subject to infections if they’re out in the field. No wait, that was women in combat. Yeah, well, look how that’s worked out for the ability of the US fightin’ machine to wage wars around the planet.

:joy:

Their anguish has nothing to do with the economy and everything to do with the society.

Well, that worked PERFECTLY.

Nobody is asking any questions about HEALTH CARE or RUSSIAN COLLUSION any more…

Proving once again all you have to do is fling a “Shiny Object” into the air and shout “SQUIRREL!” and the lackeys in the MSM go all slack-mouthed and start drooling.

It only looks that way.

No, it’s about Trump doing this to get tea baggers in the House to fund his wall. It was a trade. The Pentagon didn’t even know it was coming.

There used be a San Francisco radio commentator named Scoop Nisker, and his motto was “If you don’t like the news, go out and make some of your own.” While the trumPP’s have adhered to this from the beginning, to reject the news they don’t like is going too far. Wonder if The Mooch could have avoided the question any better.

As I’ve said before, and I’ll try to make this clear, this was a military decision.

I didn’t see it (wouldn’t waste my time) but did ANYONE in the room push back on this??

She didn’t ask April Ryan to set up a meeting with the Black Congressional Caucus. She smarter than the so-called president.

It’s a bit more than a shiny object. In the first place, the military is in a terrible position with this - they need bodies. They don’t care anymore about differences in the birth certificate and the person standing in front of them - if that person is fit then they want that person.

It’s a bit more than a shiny object to the LGBTQ community and

It’s way more than a shiny object to Mexico since he is taking the money to build the fucking wall.

It’s called walking while chewing gum.

I believe Trump’s attitude towards LGBTQ Americans is worth a bit of my time.

BTW, the Senate is ‘debating’ a straight ACA repeal at the moment. Since the resulting vote will need 60 to pass, it’s going down.
