Good job, guys. Start as you mean to proceed.

Sad.

On CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Scaramucci said he did not “know the answer to whether or not” Trump will sign the legislation.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on ABC News’ “This Week” nevertheless indicated that Trump supports the legislation as it currently stands.

@marby I guessed that…

It’s interesting that Bannon hates Scaramucci so much. I wonder why …

It’s quite likely that these two encapsulate Trump’s “position” perfectly.

See, Trumpkins, we don’t laugh at you because we’re secretly envious. We laugh at you because you don’t try to be good at what you do and couldn’t be good if you did try. We laugh at you because you suck.

Great communications department you got there. This thing is working out so well already.

I’m betting Trump will veto the sanctions bill. Any takers?

“We support where the legislation is now and will continue working with the House and Senate to put those tough sanctions in place on Russia.”

from the article

The new legislation would sharply limit the president’s ability to suspend or terminate the sanctions — a remarkable handcuffing by a Republican-led Congress six months into Mr. Trump’s tenure.

i’ll take a bet on the override.

He’s got a tweener there but I wouldn’t bet against you. It’s complicated. One the one hand Russia. On the other, hey, it’s an actual piece of legislation. Who knows when he’ll next get the chance?

DT can’t be wrong when his official spokes folks take both sides of a yes-or-no question. As Scar made perfectly clear to Jake Tapper, “How about it’s the president, Jake. He called me from Air Force One and basically said to me, ‘This is — maybe they did it, maybe they didn’t do it.’”

This is weird…two white house mucky mucks saying inconsistent things about a thing. Its almost like they are trying to deliberately fake out the American people.

I’m putting my money on pocket veto, with the Republicans playing along to make it possible.

The goal of the Trump communications team is to fluff up Donald Trump. Inconsistencies (and lies) don’t really matter to them. It is only the message that Trump is awesome that matters. They have made it a waste of time for the press to talk to them.

Better watch your back,Scaramucci…Sander’s wasn’t just angling for Spicer’s job. Its pretty clear she plans on knifing people in the back all the way up the ladder.

Oh lord…well Scary DID say he can ‘pare down’ the staff…and just use leaking as an excuse…

Yes…but I think the Dems have a pretty good strategy available to prevent that. Merely accuse the President of being too afraid to issue an outright veto and being overturned.

There is no way his ego can let that stand.
