Discussion: Sanders Leads Clinton 47-44 in both New Hampshire and Iowa

Shirley, maybe you’ve been posting all day … or reading all the red meat headlines here at TPM for the past week or so … or listening to Mika telling you how to empower yourself. Or maybe it was too much Golden Globes or that slut Coulter, or Dr Oz. Either way, back away from the keyboard.

Funny, that’s almost exactly the way I feel about Clinton; if she gets the nomination maybe it’s time to vote Republican and burn the whole thing down. But Republicans hate Clinton with a passion which will get every last one to the polls; and Clinton is hyping gun control, again highly motivating for Tea Party Republicans. And then there is the fact Republicans have been expecting Hillary to run for a couple decades, and all the opo research is done, all the plans made to run against her. So I don’t need to consider any Republican, make Hillary the nominee and Republicans will burn the whole thing down no matter how I vote.

Actually I do. And it is a matter of public record. Start searching Gulf War veterans illnesses. Pretty conclusive that they were not related to WMDs. And HRC was paying attention at the time.

The message you replied to was my first comment in about a month. Oh, because I am a woman, then I cannot have any ideas, that are not from someone else. I don’t need Mika to empower me, I was empowered over thirty years ago. (I dislike Mika on her “empowering” fling, it is patronizing to any professional woman who just go on to do what they need to do, not asking or expecting any special rights or consideration then the men). I just listen to Sanders and when he states that colleges will be free, heath insurance will be affordable for everyone, I just ask where is that money coming from. The only options are taxes to increase income, or debt or print more money, then inflation or recession. It doesn’t take anyone to tell me that there are problems with Sanders’ promises are fabricated at best and dangerous to America if he really expects to follow through on his promises.

Not sure I get your point. No good hoagie EVER has mustard on it.

Oh, do you really think a Socialists will be elected president? I also have concerns about Hillary’s “baggage”, but I think by the time of the election of November, ever one will be so tired of the Republican’s talking about Clintons 20 years ago, and will look for what Hillary will do in the t next 8 years. I agree with you that we should vote to “burn the whole thing down”. The Government is run by the NRA, Norquest and the 1%ers so let it “burn”.

Please tell me what Hillary has done that she has actually earned to be untrustworthy? Please, the e-mails and Benghazi is that an issue of untrustworthiness? It was just an error that she acknowledges, the Benghazi is about whether she labeled the Benghazi a “terrorist attack” or a riot related to a film. Really, does that labeling make her untrustworthy. Please I want to know why she is untrustworthy or is that just an urban myth with no basis of fact.

I don’t think most Hillary supporters are “fine” with Bernie. He is a socialist, not a Democrat, he just registered Democrat so he could run for the President.

I will vote for Trump.

There is no one on Earth the Republicans hate more than Hillary. She will get nothing done.

There is a common theme in both parties this year. Nobody outside a few gated zip codes respects anyone in the traditional elites. They have all lost any authority they ever had. We are headed down a scary road. I think I trust Bernie more than Thrump.

Ah yes, the left’s Benghazi before there was a Benghazi.

Bernie has a better chance to win than Hillary against Republicans. Not even debatable.

Check out ARG’s past record on accuracy.

You are correct.

Here’s the shorter version: you will hold her accountable for all the sins of omission that Obama committed, but you’ll dress it up as some principled stance.

You said the same stuff in 2008.

It isn’t necessarily any thing she has done, but she is a member of the insider elite who has waxed rich in Washington. You don’t get it. The pitchforks and torches are in the hands of the Americans people. Insiders from Washington like Hillary have been left behind. It is why Jeb! Has fallen out of the race.

But liberals hate her more.

And at least Hillary won’t make any continual mistake that she can “work with the opposition” as Obama has done from day one.

I think Darcy just meant that your concerns seem a little kooky, particularly if that takes you so far as to prefer the idea of a President Trump!

Europeans have free higher education and health care for all, the very things Bernie is proposing. Where does THEIR money come from? The U.S. is the wealthiest nation on earth. We have the money!

And I’m saying this as a long-time Hillary supporter who is slowly being convinced that Bernie is the guy we need to make the kind of paradigm shift we were hoping to see with Obama, and never quite got.

Just an old memory- and an old Viet vet as well. Anyway, his wife forbade him to eat ham and he loved it - ham. She was very strict, worked in Brooklyn for a Jewish newspaper. It was amusing at the time.
