All for calling Arpaio to the carpet. But gilding the lily in a photo-op stunt in order to try and pander for Latino votes in next weekâs Arizona primary is the point I, and most others, have been making.

Arpaio is an asshole, no doubt about that. And nobody is defending him.
But she went to his outdoor jail on her ownâŚhaving him show up is to be expected. You wade into the rat nest, you are gonna find rats. It was no ambush, as Sanders tried to portray it.
This interview however, is not good. Bernie didnât want an interview, he wanted to deliver a stump speech, vague pro Latino phrases, blame Hillary for war in Iraq, curse her for having a super PAC taking money from EvilâŚhis usually shtick. The reporter wasnât playing along. You can see Sanders lose his cool as soon as the question is asked. And apparently, it was a slow burn he couldnât let go of. So he had to snipe at the guy about âdonât you say I walked awayâ
