Wait, isnât there a drought on?
âBut if youâve got some cash-- câmon in and set a spell!â

Stay classy, Catholic Church.
I just heard that they have been ordered to remove it.
Something tells me this isnât going to go over very well with the boss.
Who ordered the removal? I hope it was Pope Francis.
Aside from wasting precious water, this is decidedly unchristian. According to sore authorities, California may run out of water in a year or so. The Archdiocese of San Francisco appears to already run out of Christian charity. I wonder what Pope Francis thinks about all this.
It wonât go over very well with the big boss either.
No matter. Theyâd rather waste water on driving away one of their core constituents they SHOULD be helping. But - nope.
âWe do the best we can, and supporting the dignity of each person," he said. "But there is only so much you can do.â
The idea that this is what the San Fran. RC considers âsupporting the dignity of each personâ is simply repugnant. Why not set dogs out after the homeless? That way, theyâd save on water and the dogs get fed. Win-win.
Beyond despicable. There truly are not words for how degraded the Catholic Church often shows itself to be. How many layers of hierarchical bureaucracry did this go through and it still was considered a good idea?
How long until someone affixes a tarp to capture the water and resell it on Ebay?
Is it holy water?
The City. They never had a permit to install it in the first place. It was public outcry about mistreatment of the homeless that brought it to the attention of City officials, but itâs the building code thatâs bringing it down.
For Christâs sake!!
This service brought to you by the Sisters of Wholly Owned Subsidiaries of Sanctimony. Itâs a small thing they do.
Jesus weptâŚ
That gives me a sad. Perhaps the media outcry will reach the Pope. If his approach to other things like this is any indication, that archbishop will have some âsplaininâ to do.
Who was it who said, "As you do unto the least among you, you do unto me?"
It couldnât have been anyone important to Saint Maryâs Cathedral church staff.
We do the best we can
Blessed are the half-hearted, for they will glimpse the passing shadow of God.
PS, itâs not water, itâs the tears of the formerly faithfulâŚ
Cold hearted bastards. I knew it was a good idea to leave the church 20 years ago. The church hierarchy and low-archy have done NOTHING to redeem their evil ways. It has to be the least welcoming and charitable âchristianâ establishment in the US
