And it begins!

I was never a huge fan of Benioff. Iā€™m going to have to re-think that now. Bravo.

Salesforce is cancelling?! Thatā€™s interesting. A company whose end users are mostly dyed in the wool, hardcore conservatives is willing to go out on this limb and do whatā€™s right. Good on them!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Money talks.

Pence probably had the wrong idea of what ā€˜blowbackā€™ meant. He may know now.

I happened to be perusing TPM instead of working - i.e. working on Salesforce. Iā€™ll happily get back to work now.

Hey, but in the end, it makes sense.

Because nothing looks better for a state than being considered even more bigoted than Arizona.

Onward Christian dollars, marching as to a store
With the credit card of Jeebus couponing on before
Onward then, ye people, join our put upon throng
Blend with ours your victim-hood in our repressed song

Iā€™m here all week. Try the veal.

Where did you get this impression? Salesforce is pretty much the standard for any company tracking sales and/or customers outside of retail. The only alternatives are small companies that donā€™t have competitive products and Oracle. Iā€™ve used Salesforce in four companies, all of which were predominantly liberal in both management and employees.

I was looking for a nice hate-cake image but found this. Not applicable, but funny.

LOL, this is getting to be hilariousā€¦in a sad way if thatā€™s even possible.

Good for them. I hope to see other companies join in protesting.

Meanwhile, if youā€™re somebody to whom some people in Indiana might have, you know, ā€œreligiousā€ objections, try to avoid the state. (And, no, Iā€™m not just referring to same-sex couples ā€“ itā€™s open season on any unpopular individual group)

Mr. and Mrs. Benioff are based in San Francisco and are rather active in the surrounding community. Iā€™m sure they always look at their bottom line first, but I believe theyā€™re a pretty progressive-minded couple. That said, I havenā€™t lived in SF for nearly a decade and havenā€™t heard much with regards to local society and movers and shakers, but maybe littlegirlblue might know more. However, this move goes right in line with what I remember of them.

A company is punishing Indiana? How selfish! Why wonā€™t anyone think of the poor, downtrodden, bigoted Republicans who have, until now, been forced to acknowledge that gays exist?

Next, Indiana will bring back lynching, something that it was notorious for last century.

Creepy.

Thereā€™s Microsoftā€™s CRM, Oracle, and SAP and a whole host of other internal sales software CRM programs. Most traveling salespeople (especially the men) Iā€™ve come across are in their cars all day listening to hate radio. You can only listen to so much radio, especially in rural territories and many turn to hate radio to entertain themselves during windshield time.

I wasnā€™t talking about the Benioffs or the company. Theyā€™re probably decent people. I was talking about the people that use their products out in the field AKA end users, particularly traveling salespeople, who happen to be predominantly white men who listen to talk radio all day.

As I have been as well. Umm but why do I need to be careful?
