“Yes, and that’s among the things we’re working on right now,”

First, an Ad Hoc committee to decide how to proceed on the decision to proceed.

Big f’n deal! You plan to stop!? Stop it immediately! WTF is wrong with you? Why was taxpayer money used in the first place!? Why was/is it a secret? Now is the time to release the individual amounts and the individuals names! And not the accusers!(unless they agree)

“We will give it the most serious and urgent consideration, and insist on a thorough and rigorous examination of all the proposals, allied to a detailed feasibility study and budget analysis before producing a consultative document for consideration by all interested bodies and seeking comments and recommendations to be included in a brief for a series of working parties who will produce individual studies which will provide the background for a more wide-ranging document considering whether or not the proposal should be taken forward to the next stage.”

Just as victims in the corporate world sometimes choose to file complaints against the employer as well as the alleged harasser, there should be provisions to file a similar complaint against the government. And government is funded with tax dollars.

Because terrible news in the headlines for the Rs.

Conspicuous by omission was a pledge to stop creating victims of sexual harassment in the first place.

My thought, too. Let’s not rush into this or anything. Perhaps they should consider placing it in on the list of potential decision considerations.

Ryan is a little distracted right now.
He just received a invitation to Dagny Taggart and John Galt’s wedding.
He believes they are real people.

Why didn’t Nancy Pelosi drive this change when she was the Speaker?

Just askin’

You dumb piece of shit, you should never have used taxpayer money to begin with, but I realize that is a concept that would not compute with our average scumbag politician. I am so mad about this, that I see red. Personally I think all the guilty parties should be given some Old West justice…a tall tree and a short rope.

The very fact of having been using tax payer funds to settle sexual harassment suits speaks volumes to the sheer venality of these elected assholes. And to be so tone deaf as to make a public statement about now deciding to stop using tax payer funds instead of just quietly doing it, speaks volumes to their stupidity.
