Discussion: Ryan Shrugs Off Possibility Trump Could Fire Sessions: 'That's His Prerogative'

Three square meals of milk toast every day.

Ryan never read “Atlas Shrugged”. The fucking Republicans don’t even read the goddamned bills they vote on.
Teenage Paulie probably read the fist 3 chapters of the Anal Rand clazzic, then put it down and started fapping to his favorite hidden-under-the-mattress-so-my-government-assistance-lovin’-mommy-doesn’t-find-it porn magazine, “Cheap Nazi Whores of the Bundesstrassen”.

When the backlash begins because Republicans finally realize they need to wash their hands of all things PP, promising careers will die very sad, public deaths. Ryan’s will likely be one of them. McConnell will just retire and no one will question why, Ryan will lose his speakership and the long knives will come out. The party will need some people to blame, some folks to offer up to the public, people who aided and abetted PP. Paul Ryan’s is the most public face, the easiest target.

Sen. Cruz could not seriously be thinking of joining this smelly pile, given the way the president sheds cabinet members whenever his mood swings.

Does this weasel ever stand up for ANYONE (other than himself?) ??

Hey, Kim Hartmann was cute!

So Dems used to think that Sessions was colluding with Russia and should be fired, but now trump is thinking of firing him they think that would be inappropriate, perhaps even a sign of trump colluding with Russia?

Hmmm. That’s the problem with conspiracy theories - it’s difficult to be consistent.

You’re smart.

“Your honor. Fredo is dead. They say Vinnie killed him. But they also claim both of them were in the Mafia. Now, your honor, if they were both in the Mafia why would they kill each other?”

CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!

Jeff Sessions should be fired. In fact he should never have been appointed let alone approved by the Senate. I mean the fact that Sessions is a racist in and of itself makes him unfit to be AG even before he collaborated with Russia.

I suppose it is possible that Trump could find somebody worse than Sessions, but that in turn would put the Senate in a bind because they would have to approve a worse than Sessions. In the meantime the guy who appointed Muller would be acting AG.

OT but not OT. As for the Benczkowski-Alfa Bank thing revealed yesterday (or the day before?). Statement embedded.

Sometimes you just have to salute and move on. Jawohl, Herr Speaker!

Profiles in Courage, chapter 173.

“If he has concerns or questions or problems with the attorney general, I’m sure he will bring them up with him himself.”

“If he has concerns about anyone in the administration, their conduct or their jobs, I’m sure he is going to talk to them directly.”

Just curious – does the President Twitter-screeching at the entire world about his unhappiness with his Attorney General constitute “talking to him directly?”

Just trying to keep track of how far the bar has been lowered.

As one check after another keep falling, I find myself pondering the role of the army as the final check. It’s unbelievable.
