And does anyone really think Trump would be more responsible than Clinton with classified info? I’m guessing at some point during the next 4 months he’ll slip up during one of his stream of consciousness rants and use something classified as a talking point.

Your letter, as a member of Congress, means bupkus. Only a letter from the Chief Executive is binding on an agency that is part of the executive branch.

My guess is that he’s doing it to appeal to the base. Which is stupid. This plays well amoung people who were already going to vote for Trump. To the undecideds it just looks both dumb and mean-spirited.
Under the terms of his request someone should ask Ryan how a President Clinton would fulfill the requirements of office.
