They shouldn’t get to pick and choose. This candidate repeatedly says things that are unhinged. Khan family. Putin won’t invade Ukraine, etc. They get to disavow the candidate. They don’t get to pick and choose which one of the insane and dangerous things the candidate says.

So fucking what. They have both endorsed Crazy Train Trump and unless they specifically call him out, the statement is disenginuous bullshit. We all know if Obama had been saying/doing what Trump is you wouldn’t be able to find a channel McConnell and Ryan are not on, blasting him.

"It showed a great generosity of spirit on the part of Mr. Khan to have referred to these two sorry excuses for human beings as “great patriots” in the interview with Lawrence O’Donnell.
When he first said it I thought that he was being sarcastic and was amazed when I realized that he was not. Mr. Khan actually has hope that these leaders will show goodness.

I’m not going to hold my breath that stations in the US will do the same; they seem to be more about the ratings and less about calling out Trump’s insane behavior. But I guess if they see there is money in getting folks to the zoo and peering into the cage, they will do so

Aug. 9th is the Wisconsin primary date. They are projecting a 16% turnout. Ryan has a challenger and I hope that this boots his opponents’ chance to give Eddie a good scare, I can dream can’t I?

Honestly, they only make themselves look worse by saying anything at all. It would be better to be silent rather than drawing attention to the fact that they fully understand how depraved Trump is, but they support him anyway.
