They’ll use Rump as a puppet and it’s kinda ironic that Rump doesn’t have the awareness to see it. The GOP establishment finally has the ability to destroy the country, using Rump as their signatory. Their base won’t have the wherewithall to actually fight back against it and, strangely enough, they won’t accept any sort of allegiance with Dems in order to combat it. They’ll use blame for scapegoats as their justification and solace.

Ryan announced too that he wanted to end Medicare.
For all you Trump voters who may be affected, drop dead.

Ryan has been putting this out there for a long time though it’s only now that it seems really real and imminent and ghastly.
But is it? It’s possible that too many Trump supporters and Republican party regulars are Medicare recipients for this to fly easily. He carried seniors 53% to 45%.
And messing with Medicare and Social Security has just never been popular.
Will that matter? Well it will a lot if our Democrats on the Hill don’t figure out how to do battle. And it will if we ourselves let it. We will have to get involved here.
