I guess Paul has experience with that.
Trump voters wonât realize theyâre screwed until their own health and/or finances are bankrupted.
Itâll still be Obamaâs fault.
I watched all of it and they were vile, compromised pieces of dung. It was all about trying to discredit Yates rather than face the music RE Trump, Flynn, and Russia.
Yes, the longer it takes the more likely it will slip out of the short term public memory. Add to that the further outrages coming from Trump and the GOP that will distract the public.
Hope you are right - but never underestimate the power of the wealthy to get a tax cut rammed through by a Republican hegemony. As we know from the Princeton study, what bills actually get passed have almost nothing to do with what the majority of people want, but rather have everything to do with what the wealthiest among us want.It is not just a trickle down economy, it is trickle down governance also.
Iâd like to suggest you open this link to how a bill proceeds to become law signed by a president. Itâs never easy, always circuitous, but add to that the reluctance of many in the senate to address it and the very little time actually in session. I believe weâre hearing what is called obfuscation in the sane world, but when it comes to Rs itâs called bullshit. FDR talked about fear itself, and theyâre trying very afraid to make us fearful.
To the extent that Ryan received Social Security survivor benefits, the zeal with which he works to deny benefits to the needy makes him especially heartless.
Thatâs cold comfort for the even larger number of innocent victims who did nothing to bring this nightmare scenario on themselves.
Theyâre saying it because they want a greedier rep.
The Trump people are saying that, the rest of us just hate Ryan. Personally Iâd like McCarthy to be speaker because heâs really stupid.
About 25% of voters voted for Hillary Clinton, therefore 75% voted for Trump, or not at all. They ARE to blame. Iâve worked those numbers into my derision, outrage and despairâŚ
I listen to multiple political podcasts and read lots of political writers all over the spectrum - and like I said, I hope you are right and most all of these people are in total agreement with you. However, these are the same people that told me Trump could not possibly win and 3 weeks ago were saying that the repeal of the ACA was dead in the house. So like I said, I want to believe you, but when it comes to getting tax cuts for the wealthy, there are very few things the Republicans wonât do. And the wealthy people will promise those people who lose their seats over this million dollar lobbying and think tank jobs. They REALLY want to get this done no matter what they are saying publicly. When they tell the Repubs how to vote, that is how they vote, even when it means falling on their swords.
I understand the outrage and despair part but even stupid and/or indifferent people donât deserve to suffer let alone the ones who had no say in the matter.
