It was supposed to be day one. What an amateur.

“You know why?” he continued. “Because we all made promises we would do that. Every Republican senator campaigned on repealing and replacing this law.

And Trump campaigned on protecting Medicaid and getting everyone health insurance. Not exactly a trivial point.

Nice zoo you have there, Eddie… Be a shame if anything happened to it. In 2018…

Ryan really thinks that Trump is going to back pedal on his campaign promise to not touch medicare/medicade? Or that republican voters are going to forget…Sounds like his seat is secure past 2020…

C-o-l-l-a-p-s-e in the summertime.

WASHINGTON — The Senate bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act was edging toward collapse on Monday after the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said it would increase the number of people without health insurance by 22 million by 2026.

You made other promises, too, Ryan, including that it would be better, cheaper, cover more people, etc. And the CBO score on both the House bill and the Senate bill puts the lie to all of those promises.

Dear Congressman. It will pass on the day of the apocalypse.

But the leader of your party Trump said no cuts to Medicaid and everyone would be able to afford health insurance. If that is true why is 22 million Americans going to lose healthcare. And why do republicans need to cut $762 billion dollars from Medicaid to replace the ACA? If you want to do a healthcare bill than don’t take money out of Medicaid. Medicaid provides millions of Americans healthcare and after all isn’t that what a healthcare bill is about? It is not about cutting taxes, but giving Americans healthcare. DUH!

Moving those goal posts as quickly as he can

Paulie, the only way to get everyone on board with Trumpcare is to “restore independence” to the CBO by replacing Keith Hall with someone respected for independence who can nevertheless give GOP the win on every budget-busting initiative.

All you need to do is get a candidate, pass a resolution to get rid of Hall, and put the new guy in.

Yah, Paulie. Too much work :stuck_out_tongue:

That’d be the same Keith Hall handpicked by Tom Price.

Oh, Paulie Galt…the tangled webs we weave…
