Discussion: Russian Oligarch-Linked Firm That Paid Michael Cohen Was Also Represented by Trump Lawyer Marc Kasowitz

Just like it was a coincidence that Michael Flynn was sitting next to Vlad at the RT gala…

This sequence of data points is showing strong signs of being Cauchy. I wonder what its limit is?

Time for Kasowitz to lawyer up. Hope he finds someone better than himself because he’s going to need it.

I just marvel at how all the lawyers in Trump’s orbit eventually need lawyers themselves.

What are these goddamn mobsters up to next? Torching the White House for the insurance money? This is just completely out of control. The country is being run by a criminal damn conspiracy. I don’t get how we’re supposed to take that calmly. It’s like if aliens invaded and 40 percent of the country said “Aaaah, we needed some new people in there anyway” and went and made a sandwich. Fucking insane.

Are you trying to show off? I think I’ll stick with the Cohen-cidences brought up in an earlier post.

The inability to describe the relationship between Renova and Columbus Nova, plus the fraud, suggests that the businesses are fronts for criminal enterprises.

I wonder what business Pinta LLC was in?

I’m sure the mob is very charming to draw you in. You say okay, and then they visit and say pay up.

Suddenly, your life as you knew it is over. You adapt. Survival of the fittest.

This is very scary. Russian intelligence assets and their tentacles are deeply embedded in the United States and in the uppermost echelons of the Republican leadership. Our Constitution is hanging by the proverbial thread and I fear for the future of our shared values. I seem unable to dispel this ominous foreboding that we are approaching the edge of unimaginable tyranny.

WTF, all the long term members of Trump World seem to be within one degree of separation from one or more dubious Russian players. Quite a coincidence, this.
Still, it’s ‘Witch hunt!’ and ‘No collusion!’ I gotta wonder if he’s tweeting to convince himself.

I wonder how many of the “never trump” recanters recanted from kompromat as opposed to looking at their polls?

Feels like a good time to remind everybody about this chestnut:

Steve Bannon, President Donald Trump’s former top strategist, alleged in journalist Michael Wolff’s tell-all book about the Trump White House that the president’s longtime attorney, Marc Kasowitz, “took care” of 100 women during the presidential campaign.

“Look, Kasowitz has known [Trump] for twenty-five years. Kasowitz has gotten him out of all kinds of jams,” Bannon reportedly said. “Kasowitz on the campaign — what did we have, a hundred women? Kasowitz took care of all of them.”

It must be like shooting fish in a barrel for Mueller. Everywhere you look is more corruption. It boggles the mind. No wonder Trump is so afraid. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Every time Trump tries to make news (Iran???) he gets swamped by the latest revelations.

The facts are too spread out thus far to be coincidental. But their range is finite, and there is bound to be some subsequential limit.

I think that is exactly what happened with Ryan. They have him dead to rights so he does Trumps bidding until he slips away to WI on the midnight train.

I’m completely disgusted and horrified and have been for months. As the entire Republican Party is complicit, I’m fervently hoping for a landslide Democratic victory in November. Otherwise, I fear it’s business as usual.

The spokesman said Kasowitz worked on only one commercial matter for Columbus Nova and that it was a coincidence that the firm had used two lawyers who also represent Trump.

“worked on only one commercial matter”
I doubt is was a bowling alley in Queens

“it was a coincidence”
They just happened to bump into each other one day at a falafel stand. “Hey, small world, how are ya!”

My guess is 5 to 10, with time off for good behavior…

I would not disagree with that, so in a sense I weakly agree with you.
