This will change. Torshin will become an un-unperson soon as the NRA has a little chat with Trump in the Oval Office.
Where’s Dotard going to get his spending money now?
Torshin, deputy governor of the state-owned central bank, is reportedly under FBI investigation for illegally funneling donations to the NRA to support Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Giggity.
The sanctions will effectively prevent them from being questioned about their activities
Terrorism, Treason.
Trump tweet about the ‘NRA Good guys’ incoming in 3…2…1
Hmm. This also prevents Mueller from collaring them at an American airport for an interview, as he has wisely been doing. Although it’s a nice trade off in that it cuts off one of the NRA’s sources for funding.
More likely a tweet about his overwhelming popularity.
So the NRA will be returning any money from sanctioned persons in 3,2,1…1…1…1
Only 58 to 59 percent? A real dictator would have it well north of 80%. What a loser.
Another sign that you’re through the looking glass: when you look back fondly at the days of “extraordinary rendition”.
From the outset, the question has been - what the hell is the NRA doing palling around with Russians? So naturally there are questions and there are answers that are not going to be good things for the NRA.
The worse for them…
The better!
I tend to think that this is an effort by the Trump Administration to stop Mueller from being able to question any more of the bankers and oligarchs involved in Trumps dirty business. Now that they realize these guys were being scooped up at the airports, they wanted to make sure none of them could come here to give any testimony.
I would give pretty much anything to watch Wayne LaPierre perp-waked into a prison cell.
Ooo shiny!
What happens? He craters the economy. It’s bound to happen - historically it happens every time they hold the Executive and the Legislative.
Isn’t he one of those scary foreigners that Dana Losche and LaPierre tell us to arm up and be afraid of?
Backchannel Boy is already on top of this. There’s money involved after all.
Just for completeness, they hold the judicial branch too and will for some time to come. This will make recovery all more difficult and drawn out as there will be “judicial sandbagging much”. Lacking Dem veto-proof majorities in both the senate and the House over several election cycles, substantial recovery from GOP rot syndrome might take several decades.I ain’t holding my breath. The National political scene will have to resemble California.
