My belief:
Trump has released his hero,Putin, to build up his weapons to the point that Russia can start to retake the countries that had been in the USSR’s orbit.
Also ,Trump will try to destroy NATO leaving the door open for the love of his life,Putin.

How many gifts has Putin received in the last few months? This one enables Putin to build more intermediate range missiles to threaten Europe, and by extension to weaken NATO.

The Senate and the US public are asleep at the grave damage that Trump has caused to US national interests.

So consent from Congress is not required for Trump to withdraw this country from the treaty?

I think Trump will be getting extra rubles for a job well done.

Russia beat the USA in the arms race years ago. They’ve got a good 2 quantum leaps in advanced technology and weaponry over the USA by now, and will be increasing that distance fast, now. Russia has undetectable subs, hypersonic everything, and that only scratches the surface of their extreme superiority.

We and the Russians have tons of Plutonium sitting around from the old nukies that can now be used to assemble much more deadly weapons. And per certifiable nutcase DJT: What good are they if you can’t use them?

O! The joy! h/t William Clark

Putin really wants to pull a “Reagan” on us, while making gobs of money on investments in nuclear ware.

It is one thing for the public to be asleep and not paying attention. The Republican Senate knows what is happening and doesn’t care about our national interests. Our country is in for a long period of rebuilding, both infrastructure and relationships. We are not the leader we once were.

Everything else Trump does is a sideshow to this. He’s doing the bidding of Putin vis-a-vis our global nuclear arms posture. All you can do is hope for the soonest possible resolution to this appalling situation.

This man has got to go. When I see people blithely saying “We got a looooooong way to go before Mueller is finished…” it tells me that they are assuming a plateau-like reality which will no longer exist.

For no other reason than the above, I believe that Drumpf will not be in a position to run for anything in 2020. There would be no NATO as we know it. There would be other worse threats and calamities with Drumpf as a candidate for the office of president.

In short…there would be no country as we know it.

Therefore I am certain that Drumpf will be removed. Thirty percent may well love Drumpf, but the rest of us are not crazy. There is no acceptable reality otherwise

My guess is that Putin wants the US to ramp up military R&D in these areas because he’s got a conduit for stealing American research. (Trump, some senators, and – after the government shutdown – new assets in USMIL, DOD, and State Dept who were approached in a time of financial hardship.)

Why get caught in a costly arms race when you can easily trick your opponent into running both sides of the race?

How much more proof does the GOP need to see that Trump is playing right into Putin’s hands? The real question is why?
