A left leaning person with depression could easily see no other way out, the tragic and dramatic destruction of the country under the guise of Christianity and Free Market Profitizing, is enough to add additional darkness to an already dark silence when trying to figure things out. Nope righty if it was politics it was because people like you drove him to it.
But likely as not it had nothing to do with you or your politics or his politics, it had to do with major imbalances in his thinking and his brain chemistry, but that involves science so you wouldnât understand.

There are lots of addicts like Rush who have no sympathy whatsoever for the plight of other addicts. It doesnât make sense, but, hell, Limbaugh doesnât even try to make sense ever, anymore. He just talks, and uses his assured tone the haters mistake for smart and correct.

You know, there are those that want us to believe that Rush is an entertainer - that thereâs nothing behind the facade he displays on the radio. That heâs a genuinely nice guy when heâs not behind the microphone. His show is all âjust in funâ.
I have a real hard time with that image when he can be quoted as saying something as vile as this.
Heâs been watching entirely too many cartoons to even consider the possibility that one as depressed as Robin was, took his own life by hanging himself so that people would talk about him. Robinâs gone, ee-jit. Dead. No more. His ears, by default, are no longer working. He canât hear or see the tributes - the genuine, loving tributes, along with the idiotically stupid ones like Rushâs - that are pouring from around the world.
How does someone this stupid, this capable of making such a stupid bunch of statements as Rush as done about Robinâs passing - how does someone this ridiculous manage to get out of bed in the morning without hurting himself?

This is extraordinarily rich coming from a very wealthy, obese drug addict who is on his third marriage. Clearly, money hasnât brought him happiness nor has it assuaged his anger in the slightest. His misery is plain for all to see.

guess we have to realize that Rush is just engaging in one of his favorite grotesque activities - âTragedy Surfingâ - when ever there it a tragic event that draws nearly all of the media attention - he steps in and makes some contrived bombastic statement - loaded with all the code words and venom to get everyoneâs attention and snag a ride on the tragic eventâs momentum.

I knew heâd be saying something vile about this today, as surely as the sun rises and shit stinks. Because he, more than any other person, is responsible for the normalization, among conservatives, of the idea that any kind of decent impulse, or any empathy for another person, any concern for the kind of world weâre leaving left to the kids, any kind of human warmth, any concern for anyone at all other than than people who are just like you is a leftist political statement. He, above all, is responsible for the rage and derisive rejection of the very word âempathyâ as some kind of evil liberal plot to pick the pockets of hard working white people. And, of course, most corrosive of all, his so-called humor has done more to validate and destigmatize racism and prejudice and out and out hate than any other figure in American history since âBirth of a Nationâ was released.
He had to do this simply because he canât bear to see any sympathy or concern or grief for anyone other than aging conservative men without politicizing it and deliberately defiling it. The man is to politics as a debilitating virulently infectious disease is to public health. Were he to disappear tomorrow, the damage he has done to my country would still be irreversible.
