Maybe – or maybe he is just responding with the typical law and order trope as per usual with republicans. I actually am not remotely interested in what Rubio or any of the clowns says about this. I am much more interested in talking about the ethics of Penn’s endeavor and what make’s someone crossing the line so fascinating to us. I commented on this thread only because it was the one that was active.

Senator I beg to differ,I would ;like to know how that tunnel was built.I would like to know who was involved with such a daring escape.I heard a commentator on a political show the other day say “maybe they could recruit those tunnel builders to help out here on the East Coast for the proposed new tunnel going into Manhattan” LOL!
Boobio is just in a snit because he knows he can’t get Sean Penn’s endorsement for Prez and because he actually got a person of Mexican persuasion to sit down and talk with him…

Another one where people might think they have to choose a side…but why? Rubio is a clown, and Penn’s interview was pretty egotistical (more about promoting himself than getting any good info).
Yep. Just that Penn is a celebrated man of the left and I think people get defensive about him. I also do not want Penn used by right wing politicians to demagogue. While I can appreciate Penn’s altruistic activities as mentioned above by littlegirlblue – I also know that the man saw a juicy bit of filmmaking potential. That’s OK from an artistic point of view – but from a political one, I sure hope he doesn’t produce a hagiography.

Grotesque is the religious right in the US and how so many of them rape women and use their religion to get rich and to keep the Government from working for the people. The US religious right - they love wars and guns and the military - they are responsible for more killing in the world than any other religion in the world.

No doubt Rubio needs to deflect – and what a juicy left wing target! What he said is likely the same thing the other GOP clown have already or will be saying and calling for increased resources for drug enforcement. I also have an inkling that Hillary will jump on this bandwagon as well.
Yeah – he’s technically correct, but he along with anyone else who profits over others people’s misery is culpable. I don’t have the answer except I think we should just try legalizing and regulating. It won’t stop the black market entirely – but it might reduce the amount of murdering.

Probably my favorite TV show of all time is the British show “The Thick of it.” Wondering if you’ve seen it. I was telling a British friend of mine that I thought it was one of the best political satires I’d ever seen on television. His response: “Satire? More like a documentary!”
