Remember those pledges that were so popular among Republicans, back when they still pretended to stand for stuff? How about a pledge to stop taking money from the NRA? Would you sign it, Marco? Why not?
This is really not all that complicated, although it seems to be so for Senator Rubio.
The more difficult you make it for someone to commit a crime, the less likely it is he will commit it. Will such laws stop all crimes? Of course not. But if that were the criteria, weâd have no laws at all.
Weasel doesnât want to lose his golden ticket to Wayne LaPierre and Dana Loeschâs annual money grab.
No Marco. Just no. It is a demonstrable fact that the more common-sense gun control you have in place, the fewer gun crimes you see. And any restriction you put, even a trivial one, is going to help because it acts like a speed bump. This throwing up your hands ignores that. I can guarantee that if you require people to go to the park and take a picture of a squirrel and bring it with them if they want to buy a gun, fewer guns will be sold. There will be a percentage of people who wonât go to the trouble. Sure, there are guns out there. But 17 people are dead because there wasnât one gun fewer. It only would have taken that one.
Here is one that could have prevented this shooting.
Require gun buyers to be 21 years of age.
Here is another.
Require gun buyers get a permit to buy from their local police jurisdiction.
I wondered how long it was before someone was going to try the âNothing works! We canât do anything,â line
These are the same guys who condemn muslim fundamentalism but they share the same fatalistic outlook.
What gets me is when faced with a problem, itâs American to try and fix it. It may not work but at least we tried. These guys wonât even TRY.
Sen. Marco Rubio =NRA
Mario is right, there is no gun law that would have prevented this. Now if we do away with the absurd notion that everyone should be allowed to have guns, then it might, it has worked in the UK and Oz. But try getting elected dog catcher in a Quaker town on that platform.
âIf there was such a law that could have prevented yesterday, I think a lot of people would have supported it,â he said.
Poor Marco has a learning disability.
Are âblood-soaked video gamesâ going to be the next excuse?
Or will some Republicanât call for armed teachers in the schools? Something else he wonât pay for.
Not even close enough, the guy in Las Vegas would have passed with flying colors. How about what they do in Japan, anyone wanting to own a weapon needs to have a reason, and âprotecting my familyâ or âprotecting my freedomâ are not valid reasons.
And founding member of the Heartless Pricks Club
Marco said âthis shootingâ Las Vegas is another matter.
The simple truth is Republicans care more about NRA money than for our children. Otherwise, they wouldnât act so impotent.
If it was an immigrant or minority that did this, theyâd have a million âsolutionsâ -of course, all bad.
Heâs right of course. Thatâs why all other countries have this same problem. You know, they tried to outlaw guns, and look where it got themâŚ

and another
If you own one of those weapons (AR15) you must have $5 million in personal liability insurance .
Jesus tap dancing Christ
I work for government and no one works for us unless theyâre covered
Try diving a fucking car in any state without insurance
Simple solutions that canât be adopted because GUNZ FREEDOM
Rubio recieved over 3 million from the NRA
New Laws? Hell, how about Old Laws?
Cause and Effect.
The Florida shooter bought his AR-15 legally last year; just one week after Donald Trump removed federal restrictions preventing people with mental illnesses from purchasing firearms.
