Gotta hand it to Little Marco. When he’s right, he’s right.

"Marco Rubio Begs America To Stop Paying Attention To Trump’s Russia Scandal

By Jason Easley on Sat, May 20th, 2017 at 2:00 pm

At a donor dinner, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) urged people to pay less attention to the Trump Russia scandal, and instead focus on Islamic terrorism, youth unemployment, and the rise of China."

So, who did you vote for, Marco? Yeah, I thought so.

Rubio is most certainly correct, he knew …which only indicts him as being a moral coward.

All you had to do was open your eyes to know Trump was intellectually, morally, and emotionally unfit to be President. Unfit on all three counts! Really amazing!

It was obviously going to be a chaotic, corrupt kleptocracy of a Presidency but thanks to a minority of dead-enders, we’re all stuck with this shitshow.

Will we come to find Little Marco has hidden investments in Russian bottled water companies?

“Trump supporters got what they voted for. They elected him,” Rubio said. “I don’t understand why most Americans are that shocked.”

Edited to reflect 2016.

He said the drama surrounding Trump’s presidency is “unique,” but said it is “not much different” from Trump’s “very unconventional campaign.”

That’s a big problem, because it sets up a belief that he’s cool with ignorant people ruling the roost.

“And that’s what Trump supporters voted for,” Rubio said.

“And that’s what the American people voted for,” Rubio said.

No, the American people voted for Hillary. The Electoral College voted for Trump.

If we’re assigning blame, the people of Florida voted for Trump. The same people that voted for you,

Oh he criticized Trump during primary season and so did Cruz.

The problem is that unlike Kasich (who strangely voted for McCain), that criticism became garbage, the moment when both of em got on the “Trump Train”.

He’s not right, though. The American People didn’t vote for this - they voted for Hillary, who got 3 million more votes than Trump.

I get so sick of seeing people hold up the things Trump does as an example of the potential negative results of a democratic process. We only have all this drama because our method of electing a president is actually profoundly UNdemocratic. Little Marco is just being pouty here.

I wonder if Little Marco will be reminding Rump voters of this when he’s running in 2020 and desperately needs their votes? Cause he isn’t gonna get Dems on board with that attitude. As for the Indies who, by and large, now despise Rump? Do you think they’re going to flock to a politician who swore he wouldn’t run for the Senate again if he lost and THEN turned around and threw his support to Rump saying he would be a check on him?

Rubio also added that, though he finds this administration abominable, he plans to support everything they do like a good little weak enabler should.

Rubio used to be considered a Republican Party lion. It’s shocking how thoroughly the conservative movement’s propaganda network can fool people.

Rubio’s not wrong. Even though Trump came in second in the popular vote, 62 million Americans did vote for him, despite the umpteen million red flags. And they still largely continue to support him despite everything. A significant portion of this country has deep-seated problems with emotional maturity and logical reasoning.

I know that’s not what Rubio meant. But he’s right for reasons he can’t admit to himself.

“I do think the White House would benefit from some systems in place that perhaps avoids some of the unnecessary friction points that come up on a daily basis,” he added.

Friction points like outright criminality and probable treason, for example . . . ? Even after being treated with outright contempt by Trump t\in the most public of ways, Rubio doesn’t have the courage to go after the guy.
