I’m sure in our history there has been a lazier Senator, but I doubt there has been one who used his Senate seat to propel himself to such a big stage while simultaneously being the laziest guy in the job.

Exactly 0.0000015 seconds after his successor is sworn into office Marco Who-be-o becomes worth at least seven, maybe as much as eight figures to someone on K Street, or Wall Street or anyone’s street but yours if you’re everyday folks. And believe you me, they have embossed checks and leather chairs just waiting for him. Why on Earth (or anywhere else) would he take a lousy public service job (being that he is such a lousy public servant anyway) that only pays him $174,000, give or take a few and requires him to work less than 300 days a year. Poor baby.
