If Murphy pulls off an upset against Grayson then Rubio will get re-elected in an even bigger landslide since Grayson will sabotage Murphy the same way Sanders is sabotaging Hillary.
His theme song should be Dobie Grayās āGrift Away.ā Rubio went into politics to see what he could get. If he canāt get a good grift going on the outside, heāll go back into politics. Murphy has been leading in the polls (though admittedly, there havenāt been any since March), and has the overwhelming backing of the state party. It wonāt be an upset if Murphy wins, it will be expected.
I donāt know where this notion is coming from, that Grayson is some messiah with a tremendous machine at his beck and call in Florida. Because nothing could be further from the truth. He isnāt particularly well liked, and he has struggled with holding his House seat in multiple elections.
