Discussion for article #247409
He probably won’t drop out. He’s living in a bubble of his own creation ( look at how he dismisses the polls against him ) but all those around him are going to drop out. If he loses Florida the only folks that’ll stick around are those just looking for a check.
Edit…so lookie here!. He dropped out. He’s a man of his word he is!
What a ridiculous statement. Marco, please don’t take this personally but you’re too stupid to be president.
The Clintons and Obamas should be on the look out for a moving van the night of January 19th. I have a mental image of Rubio, wearing a red do-rag and a “Possession is 9/10th of the Law” t-shirt, sitting behind the wheel at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Rubio must really hate Ted Cruz.
who doesn’t ?
Stupid doesn’t disqualify anyone to be president, case in point: dubya. In fact, apparently the more stupid the better candidate / president as far as the GOP is concerned.
Rubio will win by finishing third in Florida. Remember, you don’t win the nomination by winning primaries.
Third equals first. GOP math.
Well, okay then. I guess he likes traveling the country on his campaign’s dime. And he hates Ted Cruz. And maybe John Kasich, since Kasich didn’t tell his voters to vote for Rubio.
Please clap.
“It would be a lot better to go to Utah being the winner of the Florida primary. It would give us a tremendous amount of momentum."
If he loses FL (which he will, doesn’t matter if it’s 20 points or 5) how in the hell can he win UT? Which billionaire is throwing their cash away on the Rube after his shellacking in his home state?
Bad Loser Syndrome.
Rubio still has some dick and pee jokes up his sleeve that he’d like the American people to be entertained by. His jokes resonated with the DC Republican crowd.
el rube finally has a job he likes doing.
Not being President ?
Oh, ho! The dark money boys have plans for Rubio, perhaps?
Not that I’m any good at prognostication, but it’s looking more and more likely that a batshit-crazy GOP convention is in our future. Thus folks like Rubio (and, TBH, Kasich) who would have smelled the coffee by now under ordinary circumstances think they could still emerge from whatever nutso scrum happens in Cleveland.
And I do think GOP party leaders will take it away from Trump in order to save their necks. Trumpism may thus sink the Prez election, but it doesn’t seem organized enough (yet) to actually form an alternative party to threaten the party itself and downballot races.
He won’t drop out, but will change his campaign slogan to Rubio 2016: Because F**k Ted Cruz!
He’s running for Veep at this point. Kasich or perish the thought, Cruz’s charning Hispanic Veep candidate! Hola senoras y senores!
