Rubio told the News-Press he was unconcerned about effing anything except keeping his campaign PAC committee contributors flush with cash and happy.

So, Rubio admits that his vote was misguided.

Too late.

Ya think? Maybe next time you’ll consider a measure more carefully rather than hastily vote for something, anything to get a victory. Nah, who am I kidding.

To Rubio: Its not like all the concerns you now voice were not thoroughly examined by many, many analysts BEFORE the vote. Where were you? Clearly your leadership abilities are on roughly the same level as the current jackass in the White House.

Imbecile!

Omg, JUST SHUT UP, MARCO! What a sniveling, pathetic creature he is. Like anyone is going to say, “Yeah, I just love this guy who second guesses himself after making a terrible and cowardly choice. I think I’ll vote for him because I like senators who never have the courage of their convictions.”

“I thought we probably went too far on [helping] corporations,” the Florida Republican told the Fort Myers-based News-Press.

“By and large, you’re going to see a lot of these multinationals buy back shares to drive up the price,” Rubio continued. “Some of them will be forced, because they’re sitting on historic levels of cash, to pay out dividends to shareholders. That isn’t going to create dramatic economic growth.”

. . .

Rubio told the News-Press he was unconcerned about polls showing that most Americans disapprove of the legislation, saying the media has unfairly influenced peoples’ opinions and that ultimate perception of the bill will be based on “what their paycheck is telling them.”

What the actual fucking fuck? He doesn’t even see the contradiction there, does he?

If I gave a shit about Cottonmouth, I’d share the tale of the Great Clinton Tax Hike of 1993 with him.

Because I remember it all too well. Back in '93, Clinton pushed through a moderately hefty increase in the top marginal income tax rate, increasing it from 31% to 39%. A modest reversal of the Reagan tax cuts for the rich, in other words. And the rich people were apoplectic, predicting imminent economic doom, as they are wont to do when their taxes go up.

But the thing is, though the tax increase hit only the well-to-do, and the upper middle class only moderately, the vast majority of the holy swing voters appeared to have believed that Bill Clinton Raised My Taxes! They were furious at him about it. He Raised Their Taxes.

My secretary was one of them. And then, when I asked her “he did? Huh. So, did you see your withholding increase?” she sputtered, veered off to other reasons she just hated Bill Clinton, and nonetheless never changed her belief that Clinton Raised Her Taxes. And I said to myself “how, odd. The very evident, and one would think elemental, truth that her paycheck got no smaller in no way affected her belief that her payroll taxes had been raised.”

And that’s your problem little Marco. You admit you overdid it on the corporate taxes which you voted for anyway and know everyone hates you for that. Yet, you somehow think people are even going to notice a thirty dollar increase in their bi-weekly paycheck (if that) and forget their rage created by their basically rational belief that you ass-raped them to pay for obscenely grotesque tax cuts for rich people.

Good luck with that, buddy.
