I think Marco Rubio should resign for lying about one of his colleagues. Next up, Clarence Thomas and the idiot in the White House.
Rubio should be careful here. I highly doubt Franken is the only legislator with such issues. And when a Republican is outed, he’ll backtrack. Also, maybe I missed it but when did he call for the Gropenfuhrer to resign?
“I think the allegations against him, many of which he’s admitted, are horrifying, but at this point he’s going to be before the ethics committee and I would say in fairness, he has, although I don’t know, the things he’s already admitted to to be outrageous and offensive and I do think on that alone he should consider resigning,” he said. “But he’s going to go through the same process (as Roy Moore would if he were elected) and there’s going to be evidenced testimony and I think we’ll have to make a decision based on that. And we may end up voting on that.”

Why do sexual transgressions deserve a special status in the gamut of human misdeeds as far as meriting a resignation from office? If you drive drunk you risk actually crippling and killing other innocent people. Is a DUI less serious than pinching a woman's butt? What about employing undocumented or otherwise illegal workers at your residence or business? Is violating immigration law less serious than sexual harassment? There's a long history of people in Congress running afoul of various laws yet staying in office to little or no protest. It seems to me if we're going to start insisting members of Congress resign for an infraction there should be a list of them that qualify for such a solution.Horrifying…Rubio finds the allegations horrifying…

So did I miss his suggestion,demand,or even a hint that the President should step down? The number of allegations against Trump are far greater and the severity of the charges much more disgusting. Don’t I recall a court case of a minor. (At the time ) accusing him of rape. It seems the case was dropped when the life of the victim and her key witness where threatened.
