Marco and Rand, think about that for a minute. What has our countries politics come to? I can’t believe it.

His continuing belief he might someday be president would be pathos-inducing if not for the fact that he’s such a corrupt, opportunistic second-rate weasel.

O, The name calling,so adolescent, and inconsequential. Is this the U.S. Senate or a grade school playground.

It’s a close call, but I think I prefer an unkempt poodle to a yapping chihuahua.

I’m really looking forward to Thunderdome … I mean the debates.

Of course, the “liberal media” is feeding his delusions of grandeur. Inviting Rubio on these news programs as if this junior Senator with no accomplishments to his name has something important to say just promotes Obama bashing - but also boosts the ego of the weasel.

Nobody cares what a flaming nobody like Marco Rubio has to say…about anything.

“I’m going to continue to oppose the Obama – Obama-Paul foreign policy on Cuba because I know it won’t lead to freedom and liberty for the Cuban people, which is my sole interest here,” Rubio continued.

Yes, because any day now the Castro regime is going to so totally scream “Uncle!” and embrace democracy. Any day now.

"Rand, if he wants to become the chief cheerleader of Obama’s foreign policy, he certainly has a right to do that,

What a child! Seriously, I find it incredibly embarrassing that this guy is a US Senator.

So what is Rubio’s plan to bring freedom to the people of Cuba? Another 50 years of embargo and silence? Yeah, because the first 50 worked so well in achieving those goals. I’d really like for just one of these interviewers to ask him for specifics, instead of just sitting back while he complains.

How do you say whiner in Spanish? Marco Rubio.

In other important news, it’s Sunday. Stay tuned for further non-developments.

Rube was on MTP, Face The Nation and This Week. But each one also has the presumed balance of a few Democrats to join in the arguing. They’re predictable in their lineups especially when a hothead has grabbed an open mic earlier in the week. Me, I got the funny papers this morning.

I am gradually weaning myself off of Sunday morning news programs. It is sad in a way, because watching shows such as Meet the Press was encouraged in my household growing up and I clung to that for so many years. Now, however, I feel insulted by the predictable guest lists and the lack of journalistic integrity - so I am also sticking with the newspapers.
