Discussion: Rubio Blasts WaPo Story On His Future Plans In Late-Night Tweetstorm

This clown is still (technically) a United States Senator, so shouldn’t he be asleep so he can get up in the morning and do nothing for the country?

Who is this “Marco Rubio” person? Never heard of him.

"using unnamed sources’

Rubbish criticism. Deep Throat was once an “unnamed” source for Watergate.

He’s lying.

I have only said like 10000 times I will be a private citizen in January.

Oh boy! I can’t wait for January to roll around. Eight more months of this? Sheesh!

I agree with Marco Rubio that it’s clear the attributed statement that he hates the Senate is clearly a fabrication. Everyone knows Marco Rubio has never attended a session in the Senate. So how could he possibly have an opinion one way or another?

Word of advice, people often claim to know more than they really do because they enjoy status of being perceived as “in the know”. (Marco Rubio)

Said without the least bit of irony. Self-awareness, Marco – go buy some.

Says Marco Rubio: “Been there, [not] done that. It’s harder than you might think.”

And January is like more than 7 months away. It’s like forever!

Trying for funny…and failing at that, too

Rubio is in the dust bin of history. The only issue is what number bottle he was on before he lost control on Twitter. The 3rd or the 4th.

You are exaggerating, so your point is lost.

According to source who knows his cousins, wife’s dentist, Rubio could do cardio instead.

Methinks Marco needs to take a remedial writing class so he can learn to correctly punctuate “cousin’s wife’s dentist.”

And as for

You have to slowly increase the dosage…

That sounds like his brother-in-law talking.

If it’s anything like what he’s already done, it will pretty much be nothing.

Flashback to another article quoting a “longtime friend” saying I “hate” Senate. Words I have NEVER said to anyone.

I seem to remember him saying something to that effect in the Republican debates. So, he basically told the American public.

That unamed sources worked for the goverment and could have lost his job re Watergate. That was legitimate cover. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_Throat_(Watergate)

However, newspapers have gone one all in for using unamed sources who are allowed to say anything without their credibility being checked.

By the way, why does the Washington Post really care what Rubio does? Really? A story like this is merely gossip and I agree with Rubio. It’s just lazy journalism.

… then Marco checked on the cleanliness of the bathroom

It’s not exaggeration when the reality is so close. Your problem is you lack a sense of humor.

It’s disturbing to think that people you trust aren’t trustworthy.

But then, whose fault is bad judgment?

Slightly OT, but am I the only one who’s weary of public figures using Twitter this way? Why use a medium that’s designed for short, one-shot posts to create what amounts to a blog entry? If it takes 23 Twitter posts to make your point, you’re using the wrong medium.
