Discussion: Roy Moore Is Back — And Co-Signing Open Letters With Trump Advisers

Given the egregious accusations against Moore… if my name were on a document that his was, I’d demand his be removed or I’d remove mine.

With Moore, these signatories are a list of the crooked scum of the Earth.

Meanhwile, this Republican from Alabama plans to challenge Doug Jones next year.

This dude compared Roy Moore’s alleged relationships with teenage girls to the marriage of teenage Mary and Joseph in the Bible.

“We were not involved in the process of accumulating co-signers. Although we stand by our support of the letter, we purposely did not ever endorse Roy Moore in his run for the Senate,” he said in an email. “When ACU signs onto coalition letters like this one, we do so because we agree with the substance of the letter itself. We can’t control who else agrees with our point of view on a letter with multiple signers.”

And I will know the villains by the company they keep, not the color of their hats.

The Confederacy and their KKK Secret Police (ICE) have their Jefferson Davis in Trump and they are ruling the nation…with total support of the Republican Party and their robber baron masters!

How long before Trump repeals the Immancopayion Proclamation by executive order and orders the Stars and Stripes be lowered and replaced by the Confederate flag!!!

Racism is being embraced and legitimized by Trump & Pence.

Tom wa also a hot tub fan. Like Witacker? (I give a shit about how to spell a shithead’s name)

No career politician here.

Take away Moore, and it’s still a list of awful people who have no interest in democracy unless it leaves Republicans in charge. Add Moore in, and you only add the flavor of a pedophile…it doesn’t increase the awfulness texture of the stew.

This is a great reminder that we can’t ever assume victory, or that a crushing defeat will take any of these fascists and/or assholes out of the picture.

They never stop, they never give up, if there’s a dime to squeeze from someone they’re on it.

If they lose they try to change the rules. Or investigate Benghazi one more time. Or make a decorated war veteran somehow less of a man. And so on.

The Wall isn’t defeated until every one of these parasites is purged from our Country

Moore might be a repugnant creep, but I think we should all be a little more focused on passing H.R. 1. It’s an incredible package of election reforms that would untold good for our democracy. It obviously has no chance until we’ve got the WH and Senate, but it’s a good thing to harangue candidates about going into the mosh pit of 2016. Lawrence Lessig is a huge proponent - remember the single issue D candidate from 2016?

EDIT: mosh pit of 2020…
