Not a bad answer by Rosenstein. But a better answer would have included a snarky comment about the wall, Mexico, and the leaked private conversation.
I mean just say it. Trump lies and boasts publicly and whimpers and begs privately.
But Trump has threatened any investigator who doesn’t go after those on his enemies list. Directing and extortion were seen by Nixon as the same thing, too.
When that traitor Bush II ‘lost’ 22 million emails no one said a peep. The judge involved (may he die of cancer and burn in Hell) said there was no reason for the Admin to even look for them. Republicans are no human beings … remember that when on jury duty.

We have not been instructed to target specific people; we’ve been instructed to target the BEHAVIORS of specific people (like voting for democrats or driving while non-white).
What Rosenstein is really saying is:
“Look, we all know the President is crazy so no one in the DOJ pays any attention to what he says in public. Just ignore him because that’s what we do.”
For some reason, some people have it in for this guy, myself I think he’s a straight shooter. He did appoint Mueller, and his Comey letter, while it was used to fire Comey, did not recommend doing so. It did however point out several things that needed to be said.
I would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
Rosenstein would be a terrible foot soldier in the mafia.

I’m starting to appreciate this man. Glad to hear Trump’s tweets are not being interpreted as “policy” among our federal agencies.
