Discussion: Rosenstein: 'Public Will Have Confidence' In Mueller Probe 'At The End Of The Day'

I think they will and I also think we’ll see Adam Schiff leading an investigation in the Intelligence Comm. For now we’ll hear mild, gentle talk because they need to be cautious, diplomatic, whatever, until they actually take the House. But planning on failure is not an option.

Twenty days until the election.

It’s darkest before the storm, how does that go? So, it’s a matter of a hopeful attitude just like President Obama used to encourage. Sounds simplistic I know but to cave now is unacceptable

I hear you. Not caving.

Outright positivity is maybe a little much, but Eeyore-ian moping is something I find endlessly tiresome.

Sometimes it seems like folks are attempting to out-do each other’s cynicism just for the sake of cynicism, which doesn’t really add any signal to the noise. Look at how skeptical I can be!

Arguably this even takes appropriate wind out of the sails of righteous outrage when things are only moderately bad. And when you get habituated to losing, when all you can see in any scene is how your team is losing, you get really good at it.

Don’t get good at losing.

One of the most moving parts of life is how often and unexpectedly people rise to the occasion.

Remember all those who ran toward falling buildings on 9/11?

History is full of turning points – not just tragic ones, but redemptive ones as well.

Keep trying.

I couldn’t have said it better. This country is still a remarkable country where we’re free (mostly) to vote and express ourselves and we got through the Great Depression, WWI and WWII and we can do this.

This is us, optimistic, accomplished people (in this case all women) with confidence enough to believe they’ll have a part in big changes in D.C. Maddow ran it the other day, and I was cheering by the end.

Sadly, I can’t find the Attestup scene from “Norsemen”, or I’d link a video.

Wait, I did actually find it.

I will definitely watch. Saw an article somewhere today about the number of dem women running.

Republican men have failed miserably.

That and the fact that this report will find its way to the media, regardless.

There are a lot of articles about women’s enthusiasm and also of self-satisfied well-to-do white men who think trumpp’s doing just fine.

Evil always loses on the end. Take Pearl Harbor.

Just give the Speaker-to-Be the opportunity to question the Dotard’s manhood, and that right there will be such a spectacle that the entire GOP will never recover.

No, I think that if Mueller’s report shows that Trump colluded, the Democratic House will start impeachment proceedings.

He isn’t going to be indicted while in office I don’t think.

But you ;can convince yourself that the Democrats won’t do anything if you like. I think they most definitely will if the report shows that it’s warranted.
