Can facts disparage?
He also said Whitaker was a great AG.
I’m not saying he’s being snarky here or even setting us up for disappointment/whitewashing, just that maybe he’s hinting there’s some wiggle room with the un-indicted co-conspirator label?

just trying to stay sane in an insane world.
unfairly tarnish people who are not charged with crimes
Well, we all know by know that tRump has accumulated so much tarnish that he’s almost a solid statue.
Then how about a statement that: “Due to a memo of the Department of Justice that presidents cannot be indicted while in office, a 15-count indictment against Individual 1 will be kept under seal until Donald J. Trump leaves the Office of President.”
So if they’re on the sealed indictment list they skate?? That would be great if you’re running for reelection.
they run for re-election and hide for 4 more years and then die in office.
Or statute of limitations run out in that 4 year period.
In fact, disclosing uncharged allegations against American citizens without a law-enforcement need is considered to be a violation of a prosecutor’s trust.”
Tell that to Hillary re: Comey News Conference on Hillary’s Emails
And I quote:
Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.
Anything less than full disclosure of what Mueller has found is unacceptable.
I’m counting on that he won’t run again, but if he does, there is no way he can be in office again. Major revolting revolt.
I’m sick this morning as I turned on Morning Joe as they discussed Donnie’s easy path to victory via the EC. That republican have resigned themselves to trump losing popular vote but winning EC. What an awful way to start the day.
So, Mueller lets Trump off the hook, so far as any publicly revealed allegations of crimes. The House, SDNY and other agencies and entities will nevertheless plod on in their investigations. If all the smoke in the air indicates there’s a fire somewhere there are surely crimes to be divulged, and possibly charged.
Trump will trumpet Mueller’s non-charges as vindication. “I’ve been cleared of all wrongdoing!! I told you all along it was a witch hunt!!” Trump’s next step will be to declare he’s justified in shutting down investigations within his control, you know, since he’s already been declared innocent. Lots of pressure coming on SDNY, maybe even a few dismissals, reassignments or closed paths of inquiry. And a lot of focused vilification and criticism of anything being done in House committees. Trump will also feel emboldened and jusitifed in cutting off all cooperation with anyone scrutinizing him. “Why do they need all these documents and testimony if it’s been proven I did nothing wrong?”
It’s going to be open warfare all the way to the election on the remaining investigations of Trump. Every scrap of help or cooperation that’s extracted will be akin to pulling teeth from the jaws of a mad, rabid dog.
I’ve said for 2 years not to count on Mueller to bring down Trump. He’s a lifelong government man. He doesn’t relish the idea of bringing down a presidency.
The dems in the house have to actually use their power, even though that terrifies them.
Strenuously object disagree.
Mueller is dedicated to the rule of law. There’s enough information out there to suggest Donnie Moscow is central to transnational forces trying to subvert our Republic and that Mueller will do everything legal to make him experience justice.
A reductio ad absurdum:
What if a hypothetical POTUS was being investigated by a special counsel who collected evidence that proved, not just beyond a reasonable doubt, but beyond any shadow of a doubt that hypothetical POTUS had slain a number of children by his own hand, Do we then bury the report because we don’t disparage anyone who is not indicted and the POTUS can’t be indicted for anything?
Does this make any sense?
Our legal system is rapidly evolving to a state wherein the President is truly above the law.
Are we going to see it,are we not going to see it? This whole saga is getting old really really fast.
A big thumbs up on this one!
Perhaps, as has happened on other occasions, this statement is for the audience of one before the excrement hits the revolving air shifter? Rosenstein has been very good at Presidential Temper-Tantrum Management (its a real thing now) once he recovered from being duped by Individual 1 in the Comey-firing saga, and has also successfully extended his tenure despite the pressure he was under to bow out from the beginning. Lets see what charges are brought.
