Hang in there, man. History is being made right now. You want to be mindful of that in times like these, and write a part for yourself that won’t shame your family and friends.

Now there’s a real American - someone willing to uphold the principles of Democracy. Nunes and friends…traitors.

Professionalism, the best interests of the country, and principle being placed over politics! That is a “foreign” concept to Trump and his minions.

“Unlike our Quisling President Donald Trump, the special counsel is not an unguided missile,” Rosenstein told USA Today on Monday.

FIFY.

Rosenstein will be remembered as a good man and patriot, and all he has to do is his job. He’s been nothing but professional. Sometimes that’s all we need.

Does this qualify as a shot across the bow? Or is it through the rigging?

Who owns Mueller’s investigation work product? If Trump fired Mueller could he instruct Sessions or someone else at the head of chain of custody to simply toss everything in a safe and ban release of any of it, to anyone?

I believe that that Justice dept. decides whether to release Mueller’s report which mean Rosenstein has another chance to be a hero.

My question is predicated on people being in charge that either don’t want it released themselves in an effort to assuage Trump, or are ordered by Trump to withhold it, with both scenarios enabled by Trump’s firing of Rosenstein preceding the aforementioned.

I’m not so sure about that. That said, I sincerely hope you’re right. Myself, I’m going to wait until it becomes more clear what he meant by “unguided missile”.
I have often suspected there’s a bit of play acting going on in the JD.
Trump handpicked Rosenstein for his job. Color me skeptical until we see how Mueller’s investigation is handled by Rosenstein.

Indeed, Mr. Mueller has so many guides, clues, leaks that even Mr. Magoo could follow the trail.

Once again, all he has to do is his job - and thus far, he has. If something changes, so will my opinion, I assure you… but until he does something that merits suspicion, I won’t be suspicious.

As an attorney (who is not even remotely qualified for such a job) I stand in awe of Mueller and his team. The way they are operating and their professionalism is thrilling to watch. They inspire me to believe that the rule of law will prevail.

This is an historic moment for our country and when this history is written, Mueller will be remember as the hero.

If the Justice Dept. tries to shut down Mueller, they won’t be able to contain the information, as Mueller’s team is cooperating with Attorneys General in several states, including NY and VA. All they have to do is dump the information to those states…even the unclassified stuff will be damning. I suspect the entire investigation will leak if they succeed in firing Mueller, and if they try he will likely toss out every indictment that he can; if the Justice Dept. then backs away from all of them it makes the coverup look even worse.

Rosenstein should get serious credit for what he is doing, because he is playing the shield for one of the most important investigations of the last 50 years, and he’s going against the wishes of his party to do so (as is Mueller). Republicans like that are what this nation needs, and right now we’re depending on them hanging on and putting out the information that they have gathered…at the very least we know it will be comprehensive, even if it doesn’t live up to liberal dreams of the PP tape and mass conspiracy with Russia. I just hope it’s complete before September (60 days before the election), so the American people have the full weight of evidence to evaluate the current Republican party when they go to vote.
