Discussion: Ron Fournier Is President Of A 'Bipartisan' PR Firm, But His Clients Are Republicans

Fournier has always pretended to be bipartisan and he has always failed at that pretense. From 10 years ago but still relevant today as it demonstrates how Fournier handled his time at the AP, where he did so much damage as Washington bureau chief.

Fournier and Schultz evidently share the same definition of “Democrat.”

FWIW, we should get used to this. Ratfucking aside, the libertarian extremism – and now, treason – of the GOP has undoubtedly driven a lot of reasonable non-Democrats into the Democratic party, because it’s the only other place to go in a two-party system like ours.

I watched him on MSNBC the other day and was appalled by the professional malpractice of Chuck Todd. Fournier claimed to be left of center like Schultz but not a supporter. Todd let both lies pass. Ron’s statements were exactly the kind of statements you would expect from a paid spokesperson. It was embarrassing for MSNBC but MSNBC is the hotbed of the Schultz campaign, or at least its roll out. I have lost a lot of respect for MSNBC as a result of what I have watched the last day or two.

CNN,MSNBC seem to be pushing this BS,Both Sides. When I saw Michael Smerconish complaining about Dems not giving
Schultz a chance , Smerconish!! "Why aren’t we thanking Howard Schultz ? " What ??

Ron Fournier is as much a Democrat as Joe Lieberman. In short, he’s a Republican.

Apparently Steve Schmidt was also praising a Schultz candidacy on MSNBC (He might even be working for Schultz now) So MSNBC is showing its colors, and gave too much credit to the anti-Trump Republicans who will now back Schultz or some other third party candidate in order to hurt Democrats.

What Republicans refer to as “bipartisanship”, the rest of the world calls “date rape”.

Just because a whore will take money from both sides of the aisle does not make them “bipartisan”. It makes them capitalists.

For the same reason Republicans aren’t thanking Ross Perot.

It seems in business Fournier is just as self-righteously disingenuous as the crap (his particular specialty was both sides do it, but Democrats somehow always were a little worse) he spewed for years as a journalist, most prominently at AP.

Schmidt will be his campaign manager if Schultz decides to run. But oh, brother, we’re seeing a definite campaign to rehabilitate a republican party w/o Trump.

Fournier is in Michigan? Swell. Good to know. Lots of DeVos money here.

No so-called “journalist” deserves enhanced interrogation more than this Turd Blossom-high-fiving piece of waste.

Ron Fournier, the Susan Collins of journalism.

Yin + Yang = Fournier is getting paid, and he doesn’t give a damn about the rest of us

Post-partisan sounds a lot like profiteering!

He was a bastard to Obama from day one, while reporting for the supposedly neutral AP

“Phony, Faux and Fournier. How may I redirect your call?”

Evidently you’re limiting your landscape to liberal “news” outlets. And that’s okay.

There are worse than Toad, though. Just kidding. (And that’s including Tweety Matthews in my evaluation!)

Schultz is paying some prominent Republican and Democratic strategists—including MSNBC contributor Steve Schmidt and former Obama aide Bill Burton—to advise him on all this. He is likely forking over portions of his $2.7 billion net worth that are insignificant to him, but nonetheless very significant to these political consultants.

Thanks for sharing this . . . . so much for Steve Schmidt the hero (at least IMO)
