Discussion for article #238906
I had no idea that my beloved President was footing the bill for the 2016 GOTP clown car.
This is just shocking!
Every other word out of Tailgunner Tedās mouth is way over the line.
Weāre not giving the Iranians anything. Itās their money and itās being held in banks all over the world, French, British, Chinese, Russian, German. Ya know, the other members of the P5+1 that will move forward with or without the dysfunctional US congress.
Back when the John Birch Society was considered to be a fringe nutjob outfit, even by the standards of a day when both moderate Republicans and liberal Democrat were usually virulently anti-communist, it was a least true that the USSR was actually worth being afraid of in terms of capabilities and in terms of its embrace of oppressive tyranny.
But I swear to god, people on the right were less afraid back in the days when they were fifteen minutes and one āoopsā away from being reduced to radioactive plasma than right wing media has managed to make them of having a mosque in their town.
Iām becoming more and more convinced Cruz and Trump are Democratic operatives tasked with destroying the GOP.
It makes more sense than any other possibility.
Poor Mitt. Still trying to be the Gray Eminence of the Rich-Fucks wing of the GOP. Still failing.
That was great. Loved it. Good to see you Sooner
As much as I donāt like the guy he definitely is not a crazy and I respect him for at least saying this.
My guess is that Cruz is genuinely pleased to receive a wrist-slap from Romney.
[Huddle of the GOP clowncar occupants]
Handlers:
Cruz, Trumpā¦You guys, just go long, flail your arms, act like total nutjobs. No one can do it like you do. Sell it boys. Your job is to be so crazy, that Jeb and Walker look like sane moderates.
Jeb, Scott: Keep your mouths shut and look like guys who own a UPS store franchise.
I know what you mean, and I welcome anyoneās efforts to stop the GOP from being so crazy, but he enthusiastically pretended to be crazy himself and engendered more craziness as a result when he thought it could help him get a new job. I just donāt know if thereās an active Republican right now whom I could respect in a general way. Might be an obscure member of Congress here and there, a state rep in a purple area, Iām familiar with a few in my own region. On a national level, none I can think of. Wish it were otherwise, believe me.
I donāt think this is for defending Pres. Obama, more likely to be dumping Ted Cruzā¦
Hurts the cause.
What ācauseā??? The cause to go to war with Iran?
Ted Cruz Went āWay Over The Lineā Saying Obama Finances Terrorism.
If our planet were flat, the Republican Party would have gone way beyond āHere be Dragonsā and completely fell off the edge years ago; coming to rest inside the asshole of the elephant holding up the earth.
[Edit: Maybe it was an immense turtle, or an immense turtle AND elephants. Anyway, you get the point.]
Every other word out of every Republican candidate is way over the line. Cruz is hardly an exception.
What do you call Cruz and Gohmert sitting at a āroundtable?ā A dope ring.
So, the Republican Party would have fallen off the Rim, be headed into space and splatted on the Great AāTuin?
Itās like a contest to see who can DERP the loudest. Next up is Rand Paul saying this deal is going to include feeding babies to LIONS, in OVENS, and then jettison them out into space, where ISIS will HARVEST THEIR ORGANS all to buy Lamborghinis! HERR, HERR!
āFormer Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said on Thursday that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) went āway over the lineā by describing President Barack Obamaās administration of financing terrorism with its Iran nuclear deal.ā
Blind squirrel, meet acorn.
Thereās a line?
Really, thereās a line the gop/bags wonāt cross out of common decency?
I donāt think the gop/bags got that memo, mittens.
