There’s only so much smacking the human gob can take. Romney and Trump are the 1-percenters of inauthenticity; between them they control a huge proportion of the global inauthenticity supply. Hillary doesn’t have that glad-handing, crowd-loving pol thing in her bones, certainly, but she’s provably human and the convention showed the campaign is figuring out how to show it.
