Discussion for article #229615

The king of liars still spinning his web of lies.

Interesting revisionist account. The Senate DID pass a bi-partisan immigration bill. The House of Representatives dominated by Republicans blocked it. Ummm…trying to woo votes days before the election.

Actually, they’ll send an “immigration” bill.

The important question is… will the Latino community want him to sign it?

Exactly. Classic Mitt - it’s actually true but is nothing what it sounds like.

And just ‘who’ sent the Mittwit out to make such an unsolicited pronouncement?
Fox News Sunday.

Guess they’re hoping Latinos accidentally tuned in-- or something.

dont think the teabots will agree, mittens

As a GOPer member of Congress explained some years ago, bipartisanship consists of the Democrats doing what the GOP tells them to do.

So how many Democratic votes does he think it will take to accomplish this feat? And what if the Democrats think they can do better in 2016?

Romney sounds as though he plans to set up some type of internal police force to chase immigrants. Guess a lot of papers will be checked. Gee, Santorum, just what does that remind me of?

The spokesperson for white privilege is concerned for the plight of the poor brown people? No, not really. It’s just an opportunity for Mittens to pop up from his money hole to remind everyone that he lost in a landslide to the Democratic Black man. At least that’s what he reminds me of.

Did someone put something in MItt’s milk? Seriously, he thinks it will pass the House? That was the holdup last time. And in the Senate it will get 60 votes? (Or are we getting rid of that rule since “we” are in charge?)

For we junkies?
It’s going to feel like an eternity from now until about midnight on Tuesday.

A good read to assuage some anxieties based on rumor and innuendo–
would be Sam Wang’s post from last Friday morning:

http://election.princeton.edu/2014/10/31/halloween-story-the-curse-of-the-midterm-polls/

From Sam’s assumptions, I’d go as far as to say it’ll come down to GOTV in 2 or 3 states.
Not enough to keep the junkies from jones-ing–
but perhaps enough to keep us from climbing out on the ledge.

“for us junkies.”

You wouldn’t say “for we.”
You’d say “for us.”
