Why is Mitt Romney suddenly inserting himself into the Republican spotlight? It is absurd, particularly on the subject of releasing income taxes (Where are yours from before 2010, Mitt?) It is reviving the speculation that he thinks the party will turn to him to save the day. I don’t think so.

This is just baffling to me. I can’t think of anything Trump would welcome more than attack from the quintessential establishment candidate, the person who so perfectly embodies everything his voters loathe about the Republican Party. There’s literally no one else alive today in the Republican Party that would make a better punching bag than Romney. Not even Jeb*.

Another thing, Mittens, I’m reading “Under the Banner of Heaven” and the core tennent (aside from child rape) of the Mormon “church” is absolute obedience to those in authority over you. So, unlike JFK, if Mitt had been elected, the country really would have been run by a fundamentalist cult.

Pretty simple! The establishment are in full scale freakout mode that someone that they have NO control over has great poll numbers with the American people…not just republicans but independents and as much as 20% of democrats as well!!!
