They should pull the ad and replace it with this one:

Oh no – not the Sternly Worded Letter!

What’s next, the Soft Pillows? The Comfy Chair!?!?!?!?

Looks like Romney still does not believe he deserved to lose. That ad was as bad as Trump highlighting McCain being captured.

Some first amendment lawyers could have a field day with this one. Preferably in public at a cost of several million campaign dollars from each side. (See also: Streisand effect.)

So do we think the teatroll would do better than McCain in the general, or worse?

Release your tax returns first then we’ll stop using the ad. :books: :books: :two_women_holding_hands: :two_women_holding_hands: :books: :books:

Dammit, is she going to take that from a guy who wears Magic Underwear? If I were HER, I’d run in the general as the Real Conservative party candidate. That will fix their hash when she coasts to victory.

Love “the only thing difference” (among others).

Ok, Josh, you are incredibly proud of Fox’s reporting why?

It’s no different from anyone else’s here, including the writing of Josh himself.

The sternly worded letter is the essential first step in stopping someone else from using your intellectual property. I’d think it would be more interesting to more people that Republicans don’t even respect each other’s intellectual property rights. Makes it easier to grasp their cavalier assumption that they don’t, for instance, need the permission of musicians for the use of their music at campaign events.

“If the shoe fits, steal it.” Stephen Sebastian, Ward’s spokesman, told the Arizona

If it was taken off of YouTube let’s say and has been already used on comedy shows and other programs in public, its in the public domain, no? Fair use. Here’s the definition of fair use though not a very extensive explanation:

In its most general sense, a fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and “transformative” purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner.

I haven’t seen her ad but perhaps she just needs to add a snarky comment to it or something to make it uniquely her own. The laws are all over the place it seems regarding fair use. Rmoney used music, as has tRump without permission we have seen. Seems like it would really help if the FEC got off it lazy butt and made some rules about this shit finally to help out the candidates running for office. I guess they have more important things to do though, like twiddling their thumbs and going out to lunch on the taxpayers dime.

Anyway…I don’t really care. Two GoOpers going at each other? Go for it. I hope it ends badly for both of them.
