God, Gowdy always looks like he just came back from an axe-murder. He gives me creeps more than almost any public figure.

Seriously. You can tell Gowdy, like Trump, has no friends. If either of them had even one friend, they would be teased mercilessly about their haircut and wear something less silly.
The next step is to develop some sense of motives. Ideology? Ambition? Blackmail? Legal Exposure?
Take Nunes. The Hill notes his long-term involvement with the Trump campaign/transition.

The Dallas paper ran a story on ruskie money that flowed into these guys coffers. With yesterday’s expose on ruskie money going to NRA and then likely on to tRump you see more and more sunlight being applied to the roaches while the scurrying/obstruction intensifies.
They all send a shiver down my spine, but Gowdy in particular really gives me the creeps. They all remind me of the kind of a guy you might encounter at a hotel bar while travelling alone that triggers a flight or fight response, where you signal to the bartender that you might need some back-up.
Republicans, y’all need to clean house.
