Many in the State of Northern Kentucky will be glad Pence is withdrawing from the race for Governor.
Wow! Mister Personality and Mister Asshole. Take your pick which is which.
The 2016 Republican Dream Team!
yea
but againā¦its Trump.
Pence will have an unfortunate accident before Trump will bite off.
And the wine and the little cracker.
But will Chris Christie now retire ? Not much more to gain from hanging around Trump now, unless he hopes for some cabinet post ?
Christie still has useā¦might as well milk it
Mathew Yglesias said some time ago that Mike Pence was the dumbest guy in Congressā¦ he is now apologizingā¦
He says that all congress critter are just as dumbā¦ I have the feeling that Matt is right on both assesments.
Attorney General
Try this: āMikey if you want to go to the White House, why donāt you get a tour ticket from your local Congressman?ā
Then i realized Mikeyās Congressman waa Andre Carson lol.
That was Mitch Damielsā¦
He also met the #1 criterion of being shorter than DiJiT.
But what about poor Dr. Carson, the Brain Surgeon ? What is left for him , Surgeon General ?
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! gasp HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The Purdue University president this morning told the Journal & Courier via email that he had no plans to run for an office he held for eight years if Gov. Mike Pence is asked to join Republican presidential nominee Donald Trumpās ticket at vice president.
And will make no mention of it on his show as he proceeds to drone on about how totally awesome Pence is.
No, I was rooting for Gingrich, though I didnāt see it as very likely. A Trump/Gingrich ticket would be a godsend to both Democrats and comedians.
Daniels stands to make a combined $1 million in retention bonuses if he stays at Purdue through then, according to that contract
Side-note
At age 66, and after a lifetime of high-pressure jobs, Daniels is clearly enjoying himself at Purdue. āI get to hang out with young people and smart people,ā he said.
Heās not going to go to Cleveland eitherā¦
That is OK, he will be pissed off anyway,
As @inversion mentions a little farther down thread, Pence was no sure thing to be re-elected anyway. He was having a rematch with someone he beat by less than 4 points the last time. The Republicans may or may not be better off with someone else, but they need to decide PDQ. Indiana law requires a replacement for him to be named by July 15th or the Republicans are stuck with a dead ballot slot.
Damn. The minority vote will be flowing like a river to Trump-Pence.
Hey, Trumppence. I like that ā so very much like a tuppence.
