Discussion: Roger Stone: 'Trojan Horse' Trump Delegates Should Sign Loyalty Pledge

Of course the delegates wouldn’t be bound by their signed pledge if at any point they decided they weren’t being treated fairly.

After the steamy Matt time all Roger can talk about are Trojans…

will the delegates be allowed to treat said ‘loyalty pledge’ with as much respect as Donnie Dimwit has indicated he’ll treat his pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee if it isn’t him?

The GOP has already driven the stake thru their “hearts” (well, not exactly “hearts”). I’ll watch to see how it actually dies, in the throes of death already. This is what dying looks like - fascinating, ugly, and in this case - good news.

“Violence would be counterproductive” - but intimidation and the threat of violence works… Il Drumpf

Gee, Roger, maybe you should make them “pinky swear.” Is it just me, or are these guys all about 10 years old?

The big steal happens even if Donald Trump hits the magic 1237

How is this guy allowed to walk the damn streets??? If tRump has enough delegates, the process shouldn’t continue beyond the first ballot. Stone knows this but is busy doing what he’s always done- stirring up trouble.

Or cross their fingers behind their backs.

Loyalty … Trust —

Terms that are redundant within the GOP Roger — I’ve heard said …

Some states have rules that do not mandate every delegate vote for the candidate that received the majority vote in their primary/caucus process. Individual districts come into play, party set-asides allowing for delegates to act independently, exceptions for party elders or office holders that are also delegates to exercise free will, etc. All this drama results from Cruz recruiting those delegates to abandon Trump on the first ballot, thus resulting in a first ballot tally short of the magic 1237, even though on paper Trump had or exceeded that number going into the convention. I haven’t read about it, but there may even be states that permit (Trump?) delegates to abstain, or “miss” voting on the first ballot (Geez, I guess I must have been in the bathroom), again shorting Trump the number he needs.

Can you run as a third party delegate?

Stone also claimed his earlier threat to disclose the hotel room numbers of delegates “involved in the steal” were misconstrued by the media and violence “would be counterproductive to Trump’s general election drive.”

…Because, really, posting their home addresses should be enough to do the trick.

Since the GOP doesn’t have any rules on how you can woo delegates, I guess threats of physical harm are a legitimate course of action!

Hey may be a total POS, but I learned a new word today thanks to him!
Now to use it in seven different posts today so that it sticks…

The Trojan Horse’s fluffer is accusing other people of being Trojan Horses.

That is an insult to 10 year olds.

WHY is he still talking? I thought he had been disavowed by the Trumpites and yet…

So many rats to fuck, so little time . . .

It’s easy to see why both CNN and MSNBC have banned Stone from appearing on their networks.
