So: it begins.

Watch out for the robot’s human mouthpieces claiming “human error”. It’ll work, too: Big Robot’s had their plans in place for decades; no way this one slip-up destroys all that.

Republicans will seize this as an opportunity to point out that this couldn’t have happened if the company had employed only robots, rather than robots and cash-sucking, resource-draining humans.

Automaker Volkswagen says a robot has killed a contractor at one of its production plants in Germany.

Sad. Really, really sad.

A fraction of those, at least in the First World, who were killed or injured just 50 years ago.

Grandfather worked on Coulee Dam and witnessed a man falling into a concrete pour and being buried within seconds by yards of it. Once the pour started there was no way to stop it.

Also willing to do our robotic masters bidding. (beat me to it! I wanted to grovel first!)

Robots should be required to read the Asimov rules for robots. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Laws_of_Robotics

B166ER is a name that will never be forgotten. B166ER began
