Hey Johnny. Shitter’s full.

I have had a few drunk Uncles that lied through their teeth but never one accused of attempted rape…

“We do not serve one party or one interest, but we serve one nation,”

Roberts obviously realizes that the new in-law will give a bad impression to the neighbors. Little does he realize, he has done little to improve those impressions either.

We do not serve one party or one interest, but we serve one nation,” he continued. “I want to assure all of you that we will continue to do that to the best of our abilities, whether times are calm or contentious.

Yea, sure John, wink wink. And I’ve got a lovely bridge in Brooklyn to sell you…

Roberts has always been one who appears to care truly and deeply about SCOTUS’ institutional legitimacy, and his court’s place in history. Comments like these give me hope that Roberts will move closer to Kennedy’s old role in an attempt to preserve the court’s legitimacy. I wouldn’t be surprised if privately he views the Kavanaugh appointment as a partisan attack on his court.

Hey, John, how about Bush v Gore, Citizens United, and Shelby County, the one that gutted the Voting Rights Act so now voting rights are something that can be granted or taken away by a Republican majority in any state.

Of course you will not prefer one party over the other. Just serve the corporate interests.

Corporations are people.

Corporations have right to their own religious beliefs.

There is no racism in America anymore.

In cases of discrimination you cannot use statistical data. You have to prove that the person had intended to discriminate. Show a MS Project file that shows explicitly that the person had explicitly planned to discriminate against a person of color.

Women should listen to old men on what to do with their bodies.

See no preference there for one party over the other.

Sorry, John, your little court has already lost its virginity.

Seriously fuck you CJ Roberts. Bush V Gore, Citizens United, section 4 of Voting Rights gutted, The USA isn’t racist anymore, Hobby Lobby and take your stare decisis and shove it up the backside of your robe and round the bases with it.

Well, of course Roberts is the lucky offspring of Bush V. Gore so it might be hard for him to think critically about it.

Nice thought but I’d bet he’s far more concerned about himself than the court in general. If Kav were a run of the mill conservative he wouldn’t give the slightest damn about the court’s independence.

A creepy, leering, drunken, gold-digging, much younger second husband?

Not a single person in the USA deserves execution for treason more than Roberts. He sold out all of us with Citizens United decision, allowing money to rule the USA and destroy it and our lives. He’s the most despicable lying traitor alive in the USA, although most of the GOP congress members and administration are in line next after Roberts.

Be honest, CJ Roberts. The SCOTUS is the MOST political body in US government and it is also the group that is the biggest LIARS because they pretend to be “apolitical”. You’re even more political than the damned Congress, you lying buffoon! There is no such thing as “justice” in the United States. There is only POLITICS!

Though I mostly agree with the sentiment, I do really wonder what is going on with this seemingly good move (about which I assume there’s something I don’t know that makes it not a good move):
