Discussion: RNC Suspends Partnership With NBC News For February Debate

Earlier suggestion from Chris Hayes was Limbo, Levin and Hannity.

My sister bought a Priebus a few years back. Damned thing was always in the shop. Talk about your “crap sandwich.”

That would make it even more hilarious. The stupid leading the blind. Or is it the blind leading the stupid???

I think they should just give up the debate format and play The Wanna Be Presidential Apprentice hosted by Bristol Palin on the Newsmax cable channel.

CNBC’s great sin in the recent debate was not firing off “gotcha” questions, although there was entirely too much of that. It was not that the moderators interjected themselves too much into the debate. In fact, there was actually too little of that. Their cardinal sin was that when they did on occasion ask a substantive question, nearly every debater except John Kasich proved unable to provide a substantive answer that stood up to even the lightest scrutiny. Economics is definitely a weak point of the current Republican field, and their “pie-in-the-sky” mathematically-challenged prescriptions for the US economy will be ruthlessly taken apart by the Democratic nominee when the time comes. What the RNC and most Republican candidates want is a tame group of moderators that will turn the next debate into an infomercial, because the candidates cannot stand up to real scrutiny. That does a disservice to voters, and will help ensure that the next President is a Democrat.

NBC and Mrs. Greenspan will beg and grovel to be taken back.

They should go total “Faux News” and work actively to bring these scumbags down.

“The RNC’s sole role in the primary debate process is to ensure that our candidates are given a full and fair opportunity to lay out their vision for America’s future obsequious toadying. We simply cannot continue with NBC without full consultation with our campaigns spoon-fed questions to hide the buffoonery of GOP candidates.”

Fixed.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus told NBC News in a Friday letter that the committee will no longer partner with the network for the February Republican presidential debate.

Podcast on Redstate or Worldnetdaily? Alex Jones could moderate and he would be right in their right wing wheel house. CONSPIRACY!!! Benghazi!!! TEXAS MARTIAL LAW!!!
Imagine the ratings. … and rantings.

Well, since hating “the media” is a major requirement to be a Republican, Republicans will love Rance Priebus – aka The Mighty Scourge of NBC News – for his towering courage.

Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The Republican party is over as an equal contestant in national presidential politics. They’re done.

In other words . . . . .we want to have the questions first and will approve only those questions our candidates can answer. . . . . Your name is? . . . . You are a Republican? . . . . Do you love guns? . . . . . Do you hate Obama? That sort of stuff.

The RNC has capitulated to the crazies from the TeaParty wing of the Party. So are the going to exclusively appoint Faux Noise as their debate network going forward? This makes Reince Priebus and the RNC look weak and feckless. Norman Ornstein and Thomas E. Mann were very prescient when they wrote the book: It’s even worse than it looks.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I mean, really. They’re becoming more and more marginalized every month let alone year. They’re just no connecting in any way shape or form with a majority of the American electorate.

I see this as narrowing their chances even more as it limits their exposure to voters. Soon the only exposure they’ll have is on FOX news and conservapedia.

Proceed assholes, with my blessings.

“In a Friday statement, NBC News said the network would work with the RNC to resolve any issues.”

Was there ever any doubt?

Has everyone forgotten that they had nearly the same reaction to the Fox debate? There seems to be no “safe spaces” left for them. I guess they could try RW talk radio, but most of those guys have their favorites too, so somebody’s going to get upset.
