“If you look at the months going forward whether it’s the low dollar activity that we’re seeing in the mail and the phones or the people that really want to meet him at some of the in-person fund-raisers, there’s tremendous intensity,” he told CNN. “As much as I appreciate everyone’s concern over our finances, when you look at it in totality year-over-year, we’re doing really, really well.”

So, basically, they’re falling back on the Peggy Noonan Yard Sign Theory of Victory.

“As much as I appreciate everyone’s concern over our finances, when you look at it in totality year-over-year, we’re doing really, really well.”

Compared to last year, when we weren’t raising any money, we’re raising infinitely more now–google more. So we’re like Google, we have so much cash. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

I think that’s just a mistaken transcription. What he probably said is “if he wanted to get that up in two seconds, he just strokes a Czech and it’s up.”

Melania can always go work the pole.

You mean “again”, right, since she obviously already has?

Remember the endless stories about how Bernie was beating Hillary in the fundraising department – because he raised a couple of million more than her for like three months?

there’s tremendous intensity,” he told CNN.

I’m not sure that “intensity” is the correct word…

Surely they can raise the money instantaneously.

The RNC has an email from a Nigerian Prince guaranteeing to send the campaign funds via Western Union just as soon as they provide their bank account info.

Even Trump’s jet crew is asking for cash in advance to buy the fuel.

Please just don’t use “stroke” in any sentence that refers to Donald Drumpf.

He obviously meant “insanity”.

I found that choice of words distinctly disgusting too.

“That’s a false narrative,” Spicer said on CNN’s “At This Hour With
Berman and Bolduan.” “You’re looking at the Trump campaign through the
prism of the Hillary Clinton campaign."

No, we’re looking at Deadbeat Donald’s campaign through the prism of FEC filings by his own campaign.

Did he loan $$$ to his primary campaign, or did he actually give it. If he loaned it, then he’ll expect to be paid back from donations to his presidential campaign. Do I have that right?

Is that Leslie Nielsen in one of the Naked Gun movies?

Spicer is almost as smarmy as Rinse…almost. He IS as big a liar and dissembler. I think he’s a ‘wanna be’ Rinse in training.

Donald Trump financed his campaign all the way to this point by adding in more of his own personal money. So it’s false to say that he has $1.3 million. And if he wanted to get that number up in two seconds, he just strokes a check and it’s up.”

O_o

Say whut…???
The amount is wrong but if he wanted the number to go up he’d write a check…
That makes no sense.
Does he have the 1 million or not? And why would he need that number to go up if the number is not right in the first place?

Even if this RNC spinner spox is telling the truth, is it smart to brag about this…? That Trump doesn’t need donors and can just write a check to himself??? What would be the lure for people to donate their money, and to help the downballet races if they feel Trump can do it all???

Doesn’t seem to be a wise strategy here.
