Discussion: RNC Spox Hits Trump: Don’t Blame Us Because You Lost Colorado

Mr. Trump is caught with his pants down on a desert island, and immediately looks for someone else to blame!

If Colorado had cast their delegate votes for Dump they’d be the bestest state in the world with lots of friends of his…

Sure it’s funny to hear Da Rump shocked and ticked that he can’t tweet his way to the Presidency from Manhattan. The system must be corrupt!

But Mark my words. All these nonsense voting restrictions and poll taxes masquerading as voter ID laws, are going to frustrate at least as many half cocked Rump lovers trying to vote for the first time ever, as what they irritate Democrats who can’t drive.

I’m not a Trump fan…hell I’m not a REPUBLICAN fan but Sean Spicer is such a joke. Yes, the ‘rules’ (such as they are) were in place last year…and they sucked THEN. That is what Trump is screaming about. You whine and snivel about the Dems ‘superdelegates’ and yet you put measures in place YOURSELVES to avoid ‘unworthy’ candidates from sneaking in.

Hey Donald, right now I’m on page 57 of the manual for a new camera. It has 410 pages and I’ll be plowing through the whole thing just to get the most out of this camera. I have two similar chunks of documentation for a new piece of editing software. I’ll be plowing through that too, and taking notes, and busting my butt into the night. Most people who strive toward worthwhile goals without having inherited tens of millions of dollars spend a lot of time doing this kind of thing. So maybe you should have done your homework yourself instead of whining when you lost the game like five times straight because you were too lazy and disorganized. The rules are the same for everyone. If you can’t be bothered to learn them, go home and suck your thumb, you goddamn baby, and keep your big mouth shut. The rest of us have work to do.

Colorado dispensed with the traditional caucus/primary approach to selecting delegates in August of last year.

I can’t find anything more than a few days old citing Trump’s dissatisfaction with Colorado’s publicized change of rules. Maybe he was too busy running his mouth at various podiums over the last 8 months to take note and lodge a complaint with someone.

So the proto-fascist man-child can’t figure out how the RNC rules in CO and his brood can’t understand what the registration deadlines in NY are (even when they themselves are trying to help the GOTC effort) but thinks he can run the country.

A confederacy of dunces.

Well, yeah, but however much they sucked is not really relevant. What’s relevant is that they were set last year. Trump is on cruise control (not to be confused with cruz control) and no one on his campaign was paying any attention, so they got surprised by rules that had been in place for months. Why would you see this as any different than the numerous other things Trump hasn’t bothered to figure out?

Agree, BTW - Spicer is generally a joke, as is anyone I’ve heard of who is associated with the RNC.

I’m guessing Canon, Nikon manuals are far more “easy going” than 410 pages. Unless it’s actually only 205 pages in english and 205 pages upside-down in French. Either way, new stuff that does cool things is cool.

I don’t like any of these characters, but where is that cowardly Reince Priebus and why can’t he deliver the news to Loser Donnie?

Chuckling—that’s a good guess and you’re obviously a shooter. I grew up on Nikons, so no trouble there. I have a Canon EOS-M and the manual is crap, but at least for video the camera is limited enough that I can make it do what I want without too much trouble. The new piece is a Panasonic Lumix G7, mirrorless M43, small, light body, modest price, great image quality, shoots 4K, hugely capable especially for video, tons of external controls that are hugely customizable. That’s why all the study. Just got it, and first I set it up for pro video shooting but now I want to recustomize it for stills and save both setups to a custom settings bank—it has three. Will be cogitating which features are more important, which button to assign them, all that fun stuff. I loved my old film cameras but zowie, the new ones really rock. As flexible and capable as this one is, if the settings banks work the way I hope I can effectively have two or three fairly different specialist cameras in one.

But he didn’t, and just to “trump” his laziness he didn’t even hire someone to do his homework for him, and/or hire someone who was an expert, and ask them to advise him.

I wouldn’t call it laziness. I put it down to a life-long habit of thinking rules are for other people.

After all, he’s not really a Republican. He just threw in with them as a convenient vehicle to the election. Their structure was supposed to provide him with the tools (and Tools) he needed, so he didn’t have to create it himself. If it ever occurred to him that they have positions and processes that matter to them, he dismissed it as irrelevant.
