…Donald Trump is not out to pander,” he said.
That was John Miller who was so obsessed with self aggrandizement that he’d say anything to anybody in any venue at any time to gain approval.
“What you see on the other side, is, literally, pandering, the way that they’re lining up their VP.”
??? What VP talk has there been on the D side?
Gee Mr. Spicer
You shoulda been nicer
and answered the question without
intellectual indigestion.
Well, that was all over the place. Interviewing Sean Spicer is like trying to herd a bunch of feral cats … in the rain.
tough to be coherent while the Etch-a-Sketch is being shaken with one hand and the other is doing the fast shuffle with a deck of 51…
These people are running out of straw for their strawmen – and we’re not even past the conventions yet!
Shorter Spicer: ‘Democrats bad, Republicans good’ (even if my candidate is a lying ahole.)
In a slightly less imperfect world, he’d have said “Donald Trump is not out to pander” and they’d have instantly flashed the taco-bowl tweet on the screen. What, him pander?
He’s referring to Fox News speculation. And that’s how truth works on that side of the aisle.
Oh, that makes more sense now. Thank you. FOX Universe – pretty much like our universe except inverted.
After Spicer replied Trump never promised he would participate, Bolduan laughed out loud and jokingly shouted, “They all agreed to these debates, Sean!” before trying to end the interview.
“That’s just not true, though!” Spicer began again
Trump's invitation to debate was issued to him in a forest, and since no one else was there to hear it, well............
“That guy’s brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him.”
Please, more laughter from newsers on TV when R’s say stupid stuff!
Trying to learn me some colorful phrases in Spanish.
Lo que una cucaracha vil, Sr. Trump es.
Yep,these (Trumps Spokespeople) are really a barrel of laughs, justifying the unjustifiable and finding reason in the unreasonable for the Teflon one.
Latina woman
A pleonasm, as well as a tautology.
I started saying it a few months back, but Trump is in trouble with the media. He got such a free ride during the Primaries, when he could say anything he wanted and they’d just play the clip and shrug. But he spent so much time pissing on every major news organization, including FOX, apparently not realizing that he was going to eventually need them.
If every time he, or one of his surrogates goes on television, they face a hostile press; if the good ratings that were garnered by showing his outlandish words three months ago carry over into good ratings of watching reports of his scandals and checkered past; if every journalist in the country has a personal vested interest in digging up dirt on you; then you’re going to learn, in a hurry, that, YES there is such a thing as bad press.
The mainstream media may not have the kind of pull it did, politically, say 40 years go, but if it moves the needle 1 or 2%, that’s the difference between winning and losing in some places. If nothing else, it’s just that much more current you need to row against when you’re running for public office.
You’re right. Even at today’s press conference, some of the reporters were trying not to let him off the hook, but he just kept talking past them – even when one of the reporters kept loudly saying, “Offensive – Offensive” when he called Senator Warren “Pocahontas.” He’s a horse’s ass, big-time, and soon he’s going to find out just how much “control” he has over the media. And, yes, he will need them. He’s fucked – and rightly so!
