I almost feel sorry for Priebus…almost.
Yeah—it’s like the difference between empathy and sympathy. You can understand how he feels, but you don’t actually feel bad yourself because he’s a weaselly mealy-mouthed lying douche who deserves every poisoned drop of pain that’s coming to him.
I believe that Trump’s supporters aren’t much interested in " delegates, rules and how the convention process works." They just want Trump and will raise hell if thwarted.
If this is Rinse My Prius’ way of “getting in front” of the story, its only making things worse because it’s an admission that they’re gonna lose. And lose big.
Is the Secret Service okay with pepper spray? How about truncheons? Are onions really an effective antidote for tear gas? What are the safest directions in which to flee from the convention center? Can I charge bail to my hotel room?
Wow, and Speaker Ryan coincidentally releases a presidential er, informational video…
It’s like when Bruce Willis says good-bye. Sad.
I’m waiting for the children’s book version of the RNC’s efforts to explain the upcoming convention. They’ve got some models to use for guidance, books explaining divorce and domestic violence and drug abuse and nuclear war to young readers. The trick for the RNC will be where on that spectrum to focus the book.
It’ll probably never be this much fun, though.
Baby steps.
Baby steps onto the bus.
Baby steps to Lake Winnipesaukee.
Cleveland Rocks!
Will they be able to update the website fast enough to reflect the changing rules if there actually is a contested convention?
The convention that dare not speak its name…
Bwahaha! Man, if Rinse wasn’t toast in everyone’s mind before, he sure is now!
Democracy in action! RNC officials taking way all semblance of impartiality to their own candidate and handing the nomination to a chosen few!
Priceless!
So this information site doesn’t have a comment section, does it.
I am thinking about starting a website for people of colour planning to visit the Republican Convention. It will contain two words:
--DON'T GO---
I gotta say, I’m curious as to how all this shakes out. I don’t think Trump is wrong when he says there will be riots if he doesn’t get the nomination, particularly if he enters the convention with a plurality. If Cruz isn’t able to make a last minute surge from behind to pass Trump in the delegate count before the convention, the GOP may have actual fist-fights on the convention floor. Not to mention, as recalcitrant as every candidate has been up to this point, refusing to drop out or consolidate to preserve the party, I can’t imagine that their delegates will be any more flexible.
Forget what happens if no one candidate has the nomination on the first ballot. What happens if no candidate has the nomination after the fifth?
